“i will stay there again”
good breakfast, nice staf, nice room great for the price. i will be back.
“Should have stayed for 2 Weeks!”
On a trip from Alaska, we wanted to stay at the beach for a few days. Without much pre-planning, Expedia offered a great price for this location. Taking the price into account, I didn't have very high expectations, after all, I was only paying a fraction of other hotel rates. Bottom line, I was very impressed! The staff was pleasant, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. I slept like a baby! My only issue with the bathroom was the shower. No tub, just the shower, someone had used a sealant on the stall floor that had become discolored and needs to be redone. We were not within walking distance of the beach, but we were at the beach! Plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance. Thank you for a great beach trip!
“Our stay at Newport”
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. And the price is very good. Good for seniors on a fixed income.

Good room in a good location. Stayed for work and staff was accomidating to my night shift hours as far as cleaning etc.

“A Positive Experience”
This is obviously a budget hotel, but if you just need an inexpensive night's sleep, it will do the job. The managers were very friendly and accommodating. There was a small fridge, coffee maker, and microwave in the room. It has a shower but no tub, which was fine for us. The bed was comfortable; it did have a sort of slight plastic-crunchy sound coming from underneath the sheets, but it didn't seem to be bothersome.
“Budget Hotel in Newport”
I was looking for a good budget hotel for one night in Newport. This hotel was comfortable and clean. I'm a light sleeper and didn't have any trouble falling asleep, although the hotel is located right on the 101. The staff was really nice and friendly. It was the first time I saw a "clean remote" on the desk and it was a nice additional feature. My only two complains are the lack of a hair dryer in the room and the mattress cover that has a somewhat hard and "plasticky" feel. Besides that, I was very satisfied.
“OK and good deal for teh money”
The only complaint I have is the room freshener they used was very strong. And caused my husband difficulty breathing, so had the window open all night with the bathroom fan running. The continental breakfast is good and bed was very comfortable.
“Nice Room for the Price”
Read past reviews before reserving room. Mixed reviews and the price made me a little apprehensive, but I was quickly proven wrong upon arrival. the motel itself had been freshly painted, with a neat and tidy exterior. The front desk clerk was Super Friendly and accommodating for us needing a downstairs room. The room itself had been updated with fresh paint, nice bedspread, really nice pillows (we usually travel with our own, but forgot this trip) and super soft, absorbant towels. The mattress was comfortable for both my husband and I. For the price, we have not stayed at a better motel. We plan to use Travel lodge in the future because of the positive experience we had in Newport.
“Great crash zone”
If you are requiring a clean, comfy room just to crash after a day full of activities, this is a great hotel to do that.
