It is a beautiful place to stay, nice food options, great activities, and shopping. I do wish they cleaned the rooms regularly without having to ask when guests stay longer than a couple of days. When we did request the room to be serviced, they did not come in to the room, but only brought us new towels and took the old ones. We did not receive more coffee for our stay and dishes were not replaced with clean ones. We had four guests total. Overall, it was a nice stay. Just minor things were missing that could have made our stay better.

The property was beautiful and had a nice nature trail through the forest and to the beach. But I was expecting a nicer room for a 4-star hotel. We couldn't control the temperature in our room, the Keurig provided didn't work and there wasn't much of a comforter on the bed... only sheets so I was pretty cold during the night since the thermostat didn't work. I also feel like the front desk checking me in didn't really provide any details about what the resort has to offer. We finally figured out that you have to walk across the golf course to get to the walking trail which felt like we were "trespassing" since there is minimal signage and no walkway to said trails. The yoga and spa house is also disconnected from the resort (meaning you have to cross the highway to get to a shopping center) to use it. That's all fine but I was expecting the whole experience to be a bit more excluded, from what the photos suggest. We had a good time but for the price, I probably wouldn't stay here again.

We loved our stay! Our room was wonderful with the fireplace and windows looking out to the bay. The staff was amazing! We got an early check-in and a free complimentary bottle of wine for our anniversary. We enjoyed massages at the spa and long walks along the property

We stayed here on a business trip. Beautiful property, parking was easy - it's somewhat "off season" - so we were the only people in our building for a couple of days, but honestly, the property was great. Just beautiful! we won't hesitate to return in the future!

Wait staff for food services were slow and/or a bit snarky. Ate dinner at The Attic on NYE, it was underwhelming, especially for the cost. "1/2 pound burger" was two patties and the crispy salmon was meh and really needed some sort of sauce with sweet or citrus to balance the salty / savory of the dish. Front desk team was really nice and welcoming. The room and grounds were nice. Though it would be nice to have the chairs near the fire pits to be wiped down after rain or in the morning so they can be sat in without getting soaked. The pool and hot tub were nice but the sauna, one of the key amenities we were looking forward to using barely got above 90 degrees over the 3 days we were there. It would have been nice to sit in a 120 degree sauna over the cold days.

The lodge and the grounds are very well maintained, comfortable, and inviting. The staff we encountered were all helpful and nice. The only issue we had was with the room itself. We stayed in a pet friendly room which was also comfortable and inviting however the floor, baseboards, and baseboard/in floor heating units were flithy. There was a visible layer of dog hair, food crumbs, and dirt under the beds and in the heating units. I always check under the beds to ensure my small dogs do not have access and if they do, I make sure theres no food, dropped medicine pills, or other things that they could get to which could cause problems. Additionally, everytime the heat turned on we noticed a "dirty dog" smell which was probably due to the dog hair and dirt heating up in the heating units. Luckily the fireplace kept the room warm enough to not have to rely on the heaters. The rest of the surfaces and linens in the room were clean. We would definitely return to this property but not with the dogs and not in a pet friendly room.

Haven’t been to the Salishan in many years. It has a lot of amenities on site which is great, the indoor pool was nice to have and it’s maintained well. The staff were really great and accommodating for everything we needed. The place is a bit dated for what you are spending and compared to places at the coast but we enjoyed our time overall.

I love Salishan- it’s special and unique. I’ve stayed here 4 or so times. The lodge is beautiful and the forested setting is dreamy. I usually stay in small rooms with a forest or golf setting. This time I sprung for a premiere room with a panoramic bay view, foldout sofa and a couple hundred extra square feet. It wasn’t worth the extra price and was far less attractive than smaller, cheaper rooms. This room had been updated and had no natural exposed wood like all the rooms I’d seen on previous stays. It had a strange toilet area that was partially walled off from the shower area and not quite private as it lacked any kind of door. Someone had painted the bathroom windowsill and there was paint splattered on all over the window frame. I would have appreciated a few more room amenities like a few napkins, liquid creamer rather than powdered creamer for the keurig machine. We had a fantastic visit and I’ll be back.

Fabulous property! Our only two negatives were the slow-draining shower (inches of water ugh) and the uncomfortable mattress (overdue for replacement), both of which were reported to the front desk. The staff was exceptionally friendly, room service was fast and delicious, and the view of the bay from our room was extraordinary! A perfect stay for a romantic getaway weekend.

Great location and property. Friendly staff. Amazing amenities. It’s always nice to have a restaurant/bar onsite as well as a market for snacks. Room service was fast getting to the room. The food was fine, it was a little cold but there’s a microwave in the room! In the signature rooms you can definitely hear your neighbors which is a little unfortunate since you want to feel like you’re in a lodge/cabin. There were stains in the bathroom on the door that I was able to wipe off so that was off putting. The bed was comfy and clean and the rest of the room was clean as well. All in all I would come back and maybe try out a different style or type of room.
