“Older but luxurious hotel. Worth staying.”

Hotel shows its age from the outside, but it is still a great hotel. Room was ok, more closer to a 4 start hotel. Level of service was exceptional. Breakfast buffet selection was outstanding. Probably the best breakfast I had in the past 5 years and I do spend 60 days/year in hotels around the world. City center is about 4-5 min by car. Walking by the sea to get to the city center, 15-30 min walk, is also recommended, especially during sunset. Keep in mind that parking in the city center can be a major issue so walking and using public transportation are highly recommended.

“good choice”

Very clean, the hotel is in a nice area, lots of things to do. A very good icecream can be eaten at Parfait, across the street. Everybody very nice. However, they do not have free parking and the wireless internet may or may not work. They have another connection you need to pay for. If you do not need to stay too long, it is a very good choice.

“Thessaloniki's best hotel!”

An excellent hotel, right on the bay, along the boardwalk...great fitness center...nice jogging, walking routes...beautiful (but suffers from air quality) city. Thessaloniki has wonderful places to eat and is full of night life and galleries...an excellent walking city.

“Great Breakfast”

Makedonia Palace is a fantastic hotel if you can get it for the right price. It's clean, has really comfortable beds and extremely friendly and efficient service. The breakfast was simply amazing. But I would not pay the usual high prices they ask. Look for a deal
