Hotel is as advertised. Quiet and comfortable with pretty views of rural Iowa. No food service anywhere nearby so hotel dining becomes a must for breakfast. Our server was polite but failed to take correct order (forgot the toast for my poached eggs), never offered juice or a coffee refill. By the time I got my toast the eggs were stone cold. Not a good part of our stay.

The best part was the staff. Checkin and restaurant and shuttle drivers and especially the maid service.
I wish there was an in room refrigerator.
Wifi was free and business center was free pool and health club great.
I must emphasize the breakfast buffet with Hanna and Jon and Natalie was a true value and great variety.

Place needs a facelift but hotel room roomy and comfortable. Did smell a little mildew in the bathroom area which was very spacious. Bed was comfortable. If you need a quick stay overnight I would recommend this hotel. Staff friendly but breakfast is lacking only toast or English muffin and coffee.
front desk lady was awesome! Hotel was a little dated but well kept. Room had odd smell( hubby said it smelled like pickles ) but maid came right in and offered to spray air fresher. Bed was amazing!!!
It's been a while that I stayed at a Country Inn and Suites. I was pleasantly surprised about the spacious room I received. The room had a king-size bed with a kitchenette, a dining table, a big desk and a small living area as well. The bathroom was pretty standard however. The breakfast area was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was a little above standard. The hotel has a small pool and a laundry facility. Even though it is pretty close to the interstate I could not hear any traffic noise to speak of. The hotel is within a few miles of downtown Cedar Rapids.
Set downtown just blocks from the Cedar River is the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, with over 5,600 pieces of art that include the world's largest collection of works by Cedar Rapids' own Grant Wood. Across the river is Veterans Memorial Stadium--home to the Cedar Rapids Kernels baseball team--as well as the Czech Village, an area centered around the city's Czech, Moravian, and Slovak heritage.
