Property Amenities
Spread over 13 hectares, two wings of rooms face the extensive gardens and private beach. The Shangri-La's Mactan Resort & Spa's business centre features rooms and computer workstations for rent. Fax, printing, and typing services are also available (surcharge). Function facilities include an assortment of larger ballrooms for weddings, meetings, and exhibitions. Both wireless and broadband Internet are complimentary.

Shangri-La's Mactan Resort & Spa offers 530 guestrooms and suites spread across two wings of the hotel. With views over Mactan Island and the Camotes Sea, most guestrooms include balconies with deck chairs. Accommodations feature Filipino designs with furniture made from native materials.
Guestrooms offer separate sitting areas, sofa beds, and desks equippped with complimentary wired high-speed Internet access and direct-dial phones. Wireless Internet access also is complimentary. TVs offer premium cable channels and pay movies. Bathrooms have shower/tub combinations, phones, makeup/shaving mirrors, bathrobes, and slippers. Additional guestroom amenities include minibars, coffee/tea makers, air conditioning, irons/ironing boards, cribs (infant beds), and rollaway beds.

Dining
A complimentary buffet breakfast, served in Tides, is provided each morning for all guests.
Tides - Serves buffet meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an open kitchen. Open daily.
Tea of Spring - Offers a large menu of Chinese classic dishes for lunch and dinner as well as Chinese loose-leaf teas. Private dining rooms are available.
Cowrie Cove - Features sweeping ocean views. Offers seafood menu and weekly seafood buffet. Open daily.
Acqua - Located poolside in the Ocean Wing. A diverse Italian menu is served at this venue. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Buko Bar - This al fresco poolside lounge offers sandwiches, pizza, and light refreshment. Native Filipino buffet, as well as a cultural show, is held on selected days of the week.
Recreation
A fitness centre, with modern equipment and comprehensive facilities is located in the main wing of the hotel. Male and female changing rooms are equipped with steam rooms, spa tubs, and saunas.
Mactan and Cebu Island offers many recreational activities within a short distance from the resort.

Spa
At 10,000 square metres (90,000 square feet), CHI, The Spa is a tranquil village inside the resort offering a wide variety of treatments and therapies. Private villas and suites, decorated with Tibetan antiques, are available for singles and couples; some suites feature private swimming pools.

“Cebu Mactan Shangri-La”
A beautiful and well managed hotel. Only downside: slightly too big for our european taste...

“Second time back”
This was my second visit in a month. I love this place and the staff. It's a fabulous location that is easy to get to. On this visit I was given a room that smelled quite bad. I mentioned it on check in but didn't ask for another room. After I spent some time on the beach I was ready for sleep (I work nights). The room smelled too bad and was very noisy as it was located by the elevator. After complaining the manager called to tell me there was another room available and the staff would move me. I was very pleased and the rest of the stay was incredible. A great customer organization really shows when handling less than great customer experiences. The Shangri La management took care of me. I appreciate how this was handled.
“Best Resort Hotel”
Shangrila Mactan Resort was he best hotel I have ever stayed with. Everyone was so nice and professional and treated us like VIP during our entire stay in the hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious with various variety of foods to choose from. The beach was like a huge aquarium with plenty of beautiful fishes sorrounding you in the shallow water. Most importantly, the service was superb. I will definitely come back with my family and stay in Shangrila again!

Excellent resort! Only real downside is the relatively expensive meals (but try the Chinese restaurant, as it's quite reasonably priced).
“Philippines' best resort - family geared category”
Excellent place to chill Out ESP when you have yOu have young children with you. Shang has all sorts of program lined-up for the week for everyoneto partake be it adult or child focused activity. Great outdoor activities too...didn't really have to leave the resort!!! Lots of restaurants to choose from to suit your palate for the day!! Wide selection of dishes from different flavors arOund the world - truly won't let you down.
“Fabulous resort!”
This was our first family trip to Cebu and Shangrila turned out to be a fabulous choice for us. We stayed at the resort for 10 days and the hotel facilities, especially the pools are great and the link to the beach is awesome. Service at this resort was outstanding. As soon as you walk in the door, and wait in the line for check in, someone brings a nice cool mango juice and it was something I wasn't expecting so was impressive from Day1. My family will definitely go back to the same resort in Cebu in the future!
“Good Resort Hotel”
Good resort hotel with all the facilities you would expect from the Shangri-la. Not too crowded when we went, so easy to get space by the pool or to enjoy the water-sports facilities on the beach. Very pleasant and helpful staff; good selection of restaurants
