Rooms open to balconies. Hydromassage tubs or showers, LCD TV and wi-fi internet access are the standard for our rooms, which alternate old-fashioned and modern styles. Antique Sicilian furniture, tapestries and damasks contrast with microforate plates, metallic plaster and vinyl paintings. And when you want to be cradled by the stars, there are the two Presidential Suites on the top floor, with panoramic terraces offering views over Mt Etna or the sea, so you can relax in the waves of the hydromassage swimming pools installed in a parquet deck under the sky, and enjoy a unique show… Televisions come with premium cable channels, DVD players, and pay movies. Wireless Internet access is provided along with direct-dial phones, CD players, and complimentary newspapers. Bathrooms include handheld showerheads, bathrobes, designer toiletries, and bidets. Minibars, welcome amenities, and in-room safes are also included. A nightly turndown service and housekeeping are provided. Amenities available on request include wake-up calls.

“I great find”
This is a great oasis in the middle of a rather unattractive city; at least at first sight. Your opinion of the city changes a bit once you walk the streets you discover a lot of old charm, some of it neglected. This hotel I would like to copy and paste in almost any city I visit in Italy or southern Europe, in general
“Horses for Courses”
The hotel is lovely. The staff are very pleasant and almost all had a good command of English. The food in the restaurant was very good. If you are going there on business you will not be disappointed. However, we went there on holiday and I would not recommend this location to holiday makers, although I take nothing away from the hotel itself, which I give 5/5. The neighbourhood is run down, strewn with litter and we would not have felt very safe out of doors at night. Also the traffic to get here is nerve wracking, even for an experienced driver with the latest sat nav.It is also not well located for the tourist attractions, and of course you have to negotiate the traffic again to get out. However, after our days out we would walk 100 yards to the left of the hotel to Bulla's bar, where we sat outside on the pavement and enjoyed a couple of fine local beers and were made to feel very welcome by the owner.
“Unbelievable”
By far the best hotel that I have stayed in Catania. It has two different buildings, one classic and one modern. The best thing about the hotel was the people. The customer service was outstanding. There is also a new pool. There was nothing bad about this hotel. I stayed at three different hotels on my last visit to Catania, I wish I had stayed only at this one.
“Beautiful!”
I stayed here for one night with my boyfriend in September 2007 and loved it! The staff was very friendly and the room and grounds were great. The only drawback is that it's bit out of town so you will need to rent a car or moped.

“Truly wonderful!”
This hotel is simply amazing, everything - we we really impressed with most of the staff who spoke perfect english. The breakfast buffett was great, and the rooms were a good size and very clean. I would happily recommend this hotel for all ages, we were a couple and a 5yr old child - the siclians love children and he was talked to wherever we went.
“Nice, Friendly, Relaxing Hotel”
The hotel was great, we found all the staff to be helpful and friendly especially the receptionist and the waiters in the restaurant (where the food was excellent and reasonably priced). Despite it's city centre location it was surprisingly quiet, although there weren't a lot of guests there when we stayed. The room we had was very comfortable however the "sea view" was a little limited by the large apartment block which obscured most of it.

This hotel was similar to a 4-5 star hotel in the U.S. It had beautiful classic furnishings, and good service however was a little difficult to find.

The hotel was beautiful. The room was very comfortable. I had requested 3 twin beds, and was wondering what I would get. It was two floors, with one bed downstairs and two upstairs. The hotel exuded elegance. The staff was extremely helpful and patient. The buffet breakfast was wonderful, and the dinners were fabulous. I would highly recommend this hotel.
“A little gem”
Do not let the surrounding area put you off this delightful hotel. An excellent base for exploring the rest of the east coast (5 mins from the autostrada). Although there are few shops and restaurants around the hotel, you can jump on the 429 bus and go straight into the city. The hotel itself has a fabulous restaurant which I highly recommend. We had 2 of the best meals ever and the service was good. The hotel staff are very courteous and friendly and the service at the bar is top notch!
