“Great stay”

Right downtown, what isn't in Avalon, and has a wonderful balcony for people watching and just sitting and watching the ocean. Room was recently redone and everything was very high end. Staff was outstanding and very helpful about what to see and where to eat. Great stay.

“Loved our View”

Although the hotel was still under renovation, our room was clean, comfortable, and had a great view of the harbor. The morning sunrise was beautiful.

“Reasonable rates, great location!”

Continental breakfast was a nice plus! Friendly and accommodating staff. We arrived early and left late, and they stored and watched over our luggage while we enjoyed the island. We had a quiet room near the back of the building. Liked the shower! We don't remember seeing an elevator, but there must have been one somewhere.

“Sad to Leave”

We arrived at 11:00am and were greeted graciously by friendly staff and shown to our room which was ready even though check in time was 3:00. The room was quiet and clean. In the mornings we walked down the beautiful staircase to the fragance of this quaint old building and coffee that brought back memories of my great grandmother. It was a perfect, quiet, relaxing stay. Wish we didn't have to leave.

Great customer service!!! The lady at the front desk was very helpful. My phone's battery was dead and I did not have my charger with me, so I went to the front desk to ask and see if someone have a similar charger but no one did. The lady at the front desk then called one of the employees and asked him to bring the box of chargers that the hotel have. The employee was doing other tasks, so she asked me to wait, and she went upstairs and got a box full of various phone chargers. Thank you Catalina Inn and thank you for such an amazing front desk hospitality!!!

“Clean hotel - comfortable bed - friendly owner”

The bed was very comfortable. The location was great. The room was clean. The mini-frig in the room was very convenient - kept the water bottles, beer and morning OJ cold. Would have liked for the coffee and breakfast muffins in the lobby to be available earlier than 9 am. Plan on getting some snacks and cold beverages next door at Vons. Can't wait to go back!

“wes and i's over night stay”

The location was hard to find at first but not that far at all just hard to see the sign..its a very nice place tho the rooms are small but cielings high and balcony is really nice and sees over the water.. the customer service was very nice and helpful with any questions...room was good for not really being in but for sleepoing in wish bathroom was bigger as well as shower but for the price it was nice and worth it...quiet too.

The room was small and the bed wasn't very comfortable, but it was fine for the price.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a very convenient location and the hotel was very nicely updated. We knew there was no elevator, but the climb to the 3rd floor felt long. It could use more insulation, we could hear everything outside our door and above us. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It would have been nice to have a chair in the room. Our room had no view. There was a nice balcony for everyone to use on the 2nd floor. It wasn't the best hotel we have stayed in but it wasn't the worst either. We had a pleasant stay.
