“Great hotel but who thought of the colour scheme?”

Quirky hotel with its own unique style. If you can handle the colour scheme and decor ... think a setting from Mills & Boon combined with Barbara Cartland colour scheme ... you'll love the place. Definitely recommended for the older brigade and not younger or business travellers. Rooms immaculate, value for money excellent, easy parking and easy to locate and central to town. Why do hotels have shower taps designed to test your intelligence in order to turn them on? Bed and bathroom otherwise top marks.

“Would be happy to use this hotel again.”

Although not much to look at from the outside the hotel was surprisingly stylish on the inside. The location was an ideal base to tour both north and south Mayo. Staff were helpful and the rooms were very comfortable. I would certainly stay there again and wouldnt hesitate to recommend it.

“Nice, modern hotel in the west”

We stayed here for two nights last week on a trip to the West. Lovely hotel: very modern, very clean, fashionable. Nicely located on the edge of town off a main road, close to Tesco, gas station, McDonald's and a small shopping area. Free parking in the car park next door.

“Best Days Hotel”

Have stayed in quite a few Days hotels and they are always clean and comfortable. The service at the Castlebar Days hotel was very efficient and friendly from check in to check out two days later. And it was reasonably priced (including bar prices). All in all, this is the best Days hotel I have stayed in.
