Scary

Posted 17-Jul-2014 on Hotels.com
I stay for business in upwards to 65 hotels a year and try to find pricing near 70 before taxes. Not much selection and decided to go with this. Where do I start. The hallways I imagined what a mental institution would look like. The rooms carpet was dirty and stained. The bed was very hard and not appealing to lay in. I would choose other options of keep driving. I almost walked out and was very close to asking Hotels.com for a refund.

When I look for places to stay its like a place away from home..I look for how the beds are; breakfast options; pool for kids; emenities... For this stay.... Pillow were not good Pool was out of order n didn't know that when I booked the hotel The breakfast was okay but more of a continental style ...didn't offer much of a choice... Hallways had a musty smell... Room was okay had micro-fridge that I use a lot n water pressure in shower was good (important to me) but wouldn't stay for extended period...

It was dirty in the hall and we were not very happy with the accomodations. The only plus was it was quiet.

Great start to a long month in Arizona

Posted 16-Apr-2014
Pros: It was reasonably priced, clean, and close to stores and restaurants.
My wife and daughter are spending a month in Arizona. I picked the Casa Grande Super 8 outside of Phoenix because it was just 25 minutes out of Phoenix and felt it was a great landing pad for planning and getting acclimatized to the the temperature. We were coming from Canada and chilly weather, and still had not decided on Tuscon, or Bisbee. The staff were very helpful with suggesting good restaurants and made us feel at home and welcome. Very courteous and we appreciated it, all we needed to ready for our road trip was nearby, thank you.
