Legends restaurant offers Southwestern cuisine, and cowhand-themed Duke's Bar serves cocktails and hearty fare. The resort offers an 18-hole championship golf course (surcharge), golfing lessons, a fitness room, and massages. Duke's Bar - Named for frequent resort guest John Wayne, this cowhand-themed lounge serves cocktails and Western-style fare, including Cowboy Chili and Stagecoach Cheeseburgers. Open from late morning until late night.

Recreation

Designed by Ralph Plummer, the resort's 18-hole, par-72 golf course (surcharge) has lush fairways, mature trees, well-manicured greens, and three lakes. At 7,545 yards, the desert-framed course is one of the longest in the state. A driving range and pro shop are on site, and pro instruction is available (surcharge). Guests also enjoy a large outdoor pool and spa tub, a fitness room, and bike rentals.

“Oasis pequeno”

The Francisco Grande is situated just outside of Casa Grande, AZ. As such, it is entrenched in the desert, one of the few buttes of populace evident beyond the city strips. The hotel was coincidentally as barren as the desert surroundings, with only a few groups lingering amidst the comfortable lounge and dining areas. The golf course is very uncharacteristically green for the surrounding area, and is quite well kept. My room on the wing was like a good motel room, with older fixtures and tile, but very functional and clean. Perhaps a little "behind the times" in several modern ways, but excellent food, comfortable accomodations, the historical Duke Lounge, and an adequate golf course far outweigh any nitpicking and provide a very pleasant oasis in the desert while travelling the region.

“Best-kept Secret”

Want a relaxing golf/spa resort away from the hustle and bustle? Francisco Grande is the place. They have a wonderful staff and facility. The resort is rich with baseball history. They have a great restaurant and for more casual dining, there is a sports bar and grill. Both restaurants have very good menus, service and quality dishes. We took refresher golf lesson in the morning and played a round in the afternoon and hit the pool in between. What a great trip. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

“Nice Hotel”

Nice place to stay in Casa. About a 10 min drive to majority of restaurants, stores. Casa Grande is not exactly the mecca of fine dining. Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Casa. Stay in a Tower room. Very nice. Massage prices VERY reasonable.

“Nice Classic Style Hotel”

The exterior has a '60s look, but the interiors are nicely modern. Very comfortable beds and quality bedding, attentive staff. We plan to return to this hotel everytime we visit.

“Wonderful Value-We'll Be Back!!”

Lovely hotel and immaculately maintained grounds with a golf course and an airport. In the evenings there was a fire burning in the outdoor firepit which was nice on chilly nights. The bed was very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a nice hotel for such a small off-season price through Expedia. And, its only a few miles to the outlet mall.
