“Great Hotel for Great Price Near NYC”

About 25 min from NYC. The bed was great. Room was spacious. I took 3 children to NYC for the weekend. We were given a king room but had requested 2 doubles. It really wasn't a problem for us as myself, my 16 yo and her friend slept in the king bed and my 7 yo slept on the sofa. If the bedding situation is very important to you, you may wish to consider somewhere else. I figured we would get a king instead of two doubles because they assign rooms at check in and we didn't arrive until 11 pm. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Room was very nice.

“very impressed!”

Just want to say that the sleep number beds are the Best,very clean and easy to find just off the Highway. The restaurant located in the hotel is convenient, but kind of expensive. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody.

“One night stay”

This hotel was great for a one night stay. It is just off the NJ turnpike in Carteret. Easy to get to , for me at least. There was a sweet 16 party in the lounge that night with loud music but we did not hear anything at all since we were on the third floor. The king Bed was a sleep # bed, so that was nice. Room and bathroom were very clean, only thing was the bathroom fan did not turn on. Nice hot shower and good pressure. Breakfast was better than your average continental, Eggs bacon and potatoes, plenty of bread and pastrys, Waffles!, Seattle's best coffee and juices. They had both the ceramic mugs and paper coffee cups w lids so you can take some with you, Checkout was a cinch. All in all good nights sleep and good free breakfast... what more could you ask.

“An Unexpected Little Oasis”

A very nice surprise. Even though the hotel appears to be smack in the middle of an "industrial" area. . . the Convenience - Location was near major thoroughfare. Hotel shuttle to train station was not bad & train ride to NY was about 20 minutes. .so all good there. Staff was very friendly & helpful! Loved the fireplace in the lobby ! and the bar had a nice ambiance. Bartender was definitely a people person. Restaurant food was also a surprise. . .not French Cuisine, but, very good. The room was very CLEAN, modern & comfortable. Had the amenities we were looking for. Defintely would recommend staying here.

“So far yet, so near”

Free parking, free shuttles to Newark airport, transit to big apple just around the corner and the value for money make this hotel (Don't be fooled by the price you pay - Very little compared to the star rating) a dream place to stay and do business. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Hotel next to kids-most convenient”

Thrilled to have a decent hotel to go to in this area. Last hotel I ended up in (not using Expedia) I ended up next to the Rahway prison and barbed wire. This was the antithesis of that experience. Very nice hotel and easy to get to. I do wish that there were some amenities in the room such as a refrigerator - even if nothing was in it - to help with storage of some drinks (soda) due to our being there for multiple days, but otherwise it was a great experience and would recommend it highly if you're in the area.
