“Luxury luxury luxury”
This hotel is brand new and incredible! Beautiful location, decor, rooms are really nice, staff is lovely and food is great! Can't wait to go back!
“Excelente hotel en Barú”
Muy buen hotel, entretenido, muy buenas comidas. Bellas habitaciones con vista a la piscina y el mar. Quizá faltan actividades para niños y que las actividades para adultos no sean en la discotheque porque es muy pequeña. Recordar que el voltaje es de 110 w. El personal extremadamente amable, atento y servicial. El camino para acceder al hotel es muy malo, auque lo esán arreglando.

We stayed about 4 days at this hotel and must say that it´s a very nice hotel, excellent service, great pool area, very confortable rooms, great food and beautiful and modern decoration.I highly recomend THE ROYAL DECAMERON BARU.Everything was fine , was perfect. I´ll be back soon.

it was fabulous. one small suggestion would be hat you give information on how to get there. we had none and spent hours and $$ figuring it out. would have been nice if expedia had info at time of reservation. hotel did not answer phone when we were in cartagena. also, very little english is spoken. we were the only ones from the states (which is quite unique). great honeymoon, family location

Genial ! 2 jours de repos dans ce All Inclusive. L'hotel est tres vaste, on ne sera jamais les uns sur les autres, paysages magnifiques, plusieurs restaurants avec une cuisine recherchee, sports nautiques inclus, tv5 monde dans la chambre. acces internet + transport en bus de cartagene AR payants.
“wonderful stay.”
We enjoyed our stay at this resort. All the rooms face the sea. Service is wonderful, food at buffet excellent, food at the Catch of the Day restaurant was not good. Getting to the resort is not a pleasant experience. The road is full of potholes and what should be a quick trip is lengthy due to the poor condition of the road.
“Excelent service but in maintainance”
Holet Caribe is a former 5 stars hotel, the service from bell boys to cleaning is great but some areas are under mantainance and general appareance and cleaness could be higly improved. Restaurant service is good, but pool bar is expensive and with slow and poor service. Lagomar building is better to stay than Laguito building. Pool area is wide and modern with class. Spa and gym must be renewed. Higly recommended but when restiling and maintainance will be finished. Bell boys and generel attendance are really good
“Really good experience!”
I went for my honey moon and had a great experience. The food, the locations, the rooms, the people... Didn't like the entretainers... boring, improvised and disrespectul shows... I recommend the hotel, but don't go or be part of the shows!
“Place awesome -- Service Awful -- Food really really bad”
The place is really nice. The room are perfect and really comfortable. The luxuary room are really awesome. The bad points: Each person of the staff is globally nice, but the disorganization is just unbelievable. Forget to ask anything else than a drink to the bar. The worst is the food. It's like a "cantine" or an hospital restaurant, even worse. It's unbelievable to make this kind of food. Anyway, the situation is awesome, the swimming pool perfect. So 2 nights are perfect, no more.
“Such a waste”
The food is poor in presentation and cook, the portions are small and the service is medriocre, the cocktails are served styleshless and the waiters won't speak a word in enlish, too sad. The hotel has no general fun environment.
