Turquaz Hotel in ways ways sells itself short in describing its attributes... the main one being that it is occupies an elevated position on the hill overlooking the old town of Goreme so the view from the roof terrace is amazing :) At 07:30 watching the hot air balloons taking off into the skies was an unforgettable experience.The breakfast was really great too. Above all the room we had (7) was a fantastic cave carved out of the rock and with furnishings that complimented it very well. The ATV tour arrnaged by the hotel was the best tour we did and if short for time would thoroughly recommend a it visited many of the stand out majestic stone formations and views locations in Cappodocia. All in all it is our best hotel stay experience ever!!!

First time in Cappadocia
Nice, basic clean room. Breakfast good, but 8:30 is too late to start breakfast. Staff was great. On really hot summer days, AC is necessary and we missed having it. Overall, a nice place with great views from the terrace.

Staff actually nice and friendly. I have stayed for 4 nights and they cleaned my room only 1 time and i have to ask for it 2 times. Quite disappointing. They didn't give me back the change from my trip cost and they offered me more expensive trips compare to online price.

Extremely nice and cozy hotel with rooms situated in the cave. Very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Göreme.. This hotel is so close to the hot air balloon launch ground and you could see the balloons floating through your window in the morning.

Cosy cave hotel with magnificent terrace
Very nice authentic place. Caves and stone rooms, interesting decoration. Balloons fly very close to terrace - perfect for photos. Friendly team always ready to help and talk. Thank you Murad and Aslan.

Prior to coming to Turkey I established contact with the hotel through whatsapp which was very helpful..I booked my balloon and paid upon arrival..Booked hotel through hotel.com very easy..Shohrat and his team was so friendly and helpful.Stayed in a cave room which was good for our one night stay.👍 Wish we could stay longer but we had other box to tick on our list..Cappadocia is a place to come and visit.. I recommend Turquarz Cave Hotel for your stay..

The hotel is located in quite area and in walking distance from restaurants, markets etc. it has an amazing view on the Pigeon Valley. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Breakfast is excellent. Stuff working at the hotel is available 24/7 ,and they can organize tours , balloon flight , transportation to the airport and anything you might need during your stay. I was traveling alone and they took care of everything.

This was a very pleasant stay for us. The manager was very friendly and the included breakfasts were excellent. The view from the terrace was splendid. Everything was exactly as we expected from the listing.

What a friendly place
From the moment we walked through the gate we felt welcome. The views were amazing, and the place was really clean. The only thing that stops me giving it 100% was that the lamp in the room didn't work.

The staff was really very attentive, always on their toes and literally available on 24 hours. Breakfast was okayish good. The hotel is quite far from the main centre so if you have kids or older people with you, you may want to consider a different option. I reached with my parents around 9/9:30 pm and the room they gave us didn't have the lights working. Luckily, there was another room available. Although we paid for 3 beds, I chose to live in 2-bed room as we wanted to be together. the 3 bedroom was at different levels as in 1 bed on the ground floor and 2 beds downstairs. I was not expecting that. Again, just like any other hotel they were more interested in selling tours. We booked airport transportation for 3 people from the hotel for 150 lira in total but on our way back to the airport we booked the same shared shuttle with a local tour company for 90 lira in total. They didn't have toothpaste so carry it. Also, we stayed for 2 days both the days we had to remind them for water. We booked our hot air balloon ride from this hotel for 170 euros pp which was pretty was reasonable.

Everything is good unless the weather. I hate the copdness. We meet Jalal, the hotel receiptionist and he was very helpful person, very friendly person. We love the environment, everything is beautiful in Capppadocia,its just the weather is not suitable for me.Hotel is beautiful, food was good, scenery was amazing, people at there was very kind.

There is a nice variety in rooms with each its own character. The hilltop location offers great view of balloons, sunrise and surrounding landscape. Rooftop breakfast and other outdoor searing areas are nice. Yaşar goes out of his way to be a great host, being very helpful and working with his staff to prepare a big breakfast selection, arrange tours, transport, and offer advice--all with a great sense of humor. Will definitely go back if in Cappadocia.

- The view on the terrace was blocked by other hotels at front, so don't expect to be able to take panorama pictures as some other hotels. - Wifi was not that great. We relied on our own pocket wifi during our stay. - The receptionist was really helpful and gave out great advises on where to eat and what to do in Cappadocia - The hotel locates at the top of the hill. The slope was steep and slippery (during winter time). Might not be a great option for families with young kids/elderlies.

Excellent suite with wonderful vista. Very atmospheric. Breakfast served on roof terrace overlooking the city. Staff helpful. Balloon trip organised for a competitive price. Walking distance to many restaurants but quite a steep walk. Hotel warmly recommended.

The hotel facilities are very good, but the location requires a hard walk to restaurants, plus there was no availability of suitable parking for cars. Unfortunately the hotel ran out of water on the day of our stay, we do not know if this problem was only from this hotel or of the whole city.

Great cave hotel at the top of the hill
Really enjoyed our time here. Staff were very helpful and made everything so easy for us in terms of getting around and seeing the sites. The room was great! We were there at the end of summer so we loved how cool the rooms keep throughout the day and night. Room and bathroom was clean and comfortable with enough space for us and our luggage! It is located at the top of a fairly steep hill that takes about 10 minutes to walk up from town (this was with my 70 year old mother who had no problems getting up the hill, but probably took us a little longer than most), however the view from the hotel makes it totally worth it. There is also a restaurant just next door (next hotel down the hill) that did AMAZING home cooked food and a beautiful view of Goreme. We would highly recommend it!!
