“A memorable experience!!!”
Away from the hustle of Cape Town but close enough to grab a cab and be in the city within 15 minutes. The hotel was very accomodating and offered the comfort and relaxation that I was looking for. Breath-taking views as well as a very receptive staff. If there is a negative, the restaurant could offer more of a variety of selections as I found the menu a little weak. All around though I would recommend this hotel to those who do not want to be too close to the city center. There was one area that the management could improve. There was an incident in my room on the second night and I had to change rooms at 4:30 am. Not one mention from the staff to see if everything was all right once the dust settled. Not that I was looking for anything but there wasn't even any offer of some sort of compensation for the inconveniance that this had caused.
“Best Holiday and Can't wait to go back”
Although we arrived before the check in time, reception provided free refreshment and moved us into a temporary room until our room was ready. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. Everything in our room was perfect except the lighting in the bathroom was bit dull and TV in the room was old and very small. Service was excellent and freindly staff went out of their way to get things done (for eg. making sure we were able to watch live coverage of Cricket). Breakfast selection was limited for vegetarians. The location is superb, right on the beach front with a wonderful view of Table Mountains and Robben Islands. The taxi into city centre was expensive so the hotel should provide a shuttle service. Overall we were very happy with our stay at Leisure Bay and do intend to visit again.

The hotel sat on an amazing beach of white sand where one can have a great stroll.
“Deceiving location - don't be put off”
Approached bordered by the railway and industrial units, the complex fronts the beach and views of central Cape Town and Robbin Island. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms a good size, well appointed.Daily service, food reasonable. Daily parking charge. For a relaxing break on the beach but close to amenities this is a choice location. Would I return? Definately, but you do need a car.
