I Stayed 5 nights. It is a Guest House is a Residential Neighborhood of Constantia. Very close to wineries, shopping and other points of interest. Wonderful Garden and Pool area. Hosts and Staff were very helpful. Off-street gated parking was secure. Felt safe. My room was self-catering with a well equipped kitchenette. Would stay again.

Beautiful guest house with well maintained indoor & outdoor areas. Room was small, warm (no air conditioning) & no hot water for shower. Pricey considering these points.

Dear James Thanks for taking the time to review..Our 2 x Poolside rooms are the smallest double rooms and unfortunately due to the design, we have been advised a few times that it is not possible to install aircon.We only have ceiling fans and I understand that this Cape Town heatwave has been a challenge.I have asked other guests about the hot water as can't understand as we have Solar throughout and the geyser readings were all at 52 degrees. No one else had a problem, but I will keep a check on the feed to that room.Apologies.Enjoy your bus trip to Durban.Regards Robyn.

Great stay! Very much recommended!
Great guesthouse - lovely gardens, peaceful location, great hosts happy to chat and offer advice. If you want to ditch the car/Uber for a day then lots of walking to vineyards and restaurants etc is possible from the guesthouse and mapped out by the hosts.

Really friendly family run small hotel. Perfect for our trip. Great location - really near to everywhere and then had the pool to ourselves in the afternoon. All supper recommendations were great and they were always happy to book what ever we needed. Can not recommend enough if you want to get away from it all - was like a little oasis !

Not for us.
We have stayed in many guest houses in Cape Town but this is one of our least favourites, we actually couldn't wait to leave after 3 nights, the walls are super thin, you can hear your neighbours taking a shower, talking and walking around, this of course is not the most relaxing or romantic, we never had a problem with noise in other guest houses. Friendly checkin, very average house, apart from the noise there is nothing major wrong we just didn't get a good vibe.

Beautiful comfort very quiet ideally located
Warm hospitality for this little gem of a guest house. Very large luminous rooms and lounges. Remarquable garden. Charming swimming pool. Away from the main traffic, yet well situated to visit the Peninsula. Difficult to find better.

I dont know where to start. This couldn't have been more perfect. The all inclusive food was amazing, drinks were cheap, the game drives were insane, and the rooms were unbelievably. Certainly GLAMPING but very very worth it.

Relaxing place with fab garden and close2vineyards
Very warm welcome on arrival which is nice after a long flight. Very helpful staff who managed to book a table then and there for lovely lunch in nearby estate. Very quiet and relaxing with nice garden and pool

Little oasis
Summit place guest house is like a haven of tranquillity. Set on a lovely quiet street of Constantia you are only 5 mins from the main shopping area and wine tasting but away enough to be out of the hustle and bustle. The pool and the gardens and the communal area are fantastic- they really make the property. They are well laid out and well maintained and make the place look beautiful. We really enjoyed having a nice glass of wine on the table and chairs on our little porch. We were a little late for breakfast and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us they were lovely and welcoming from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. In terms of the room it was a little small- however this is more down to the choice of room available as we booked a little late. But the shower is lovely and powerful and the bed is very comfy. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Constantia- and it was great value for money

Friendly owner, comfortable guest house
My husband and I stayed for two nights and enjoyed the experience. The owner, Robyn, is very helpful, and the guest house is handy for touring the peninsula and Kirstenbosch Botannical Gardens in particular.

Gorgeous setting; friendly, helpful staff;
Loved this b&b - wished we'd booked for longer. Room and ensure bathroom were clean and comfy. All the staff were friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to accommodate my dietary restriction. Will certainly book here again when next in Cape Town. Happy to recommend highly.

Nearly but needs attention
Convenient for vineyards and restaurants we wanted to visit, and Tendi was a brilliant host. However hard to find as sign on gate merely gives a number and Summit Street, but it is not street! Needs more shade around pool and breakfast was the most expensive and not worth it, the only one with no fruit. If everyone used pool there would not be enough loungers. Temperature was high and fans not enough, needs A/C at this price

owner and staff extremely helpful and friendly. would do anything and everything to make your stay a pleasant one. i would like to have a little more space in the room; like a small sitting area, especially when raining or cold and unpleasant weather. a full bathroom can also be an advantage. a bit far from "to-see-and-to-do-things". public transport not easily available. all things considered it is good value for money with excellent management and staff!

I was disappointed that I only stayed here one night! The guesthouse was lovely and very comfortable, but the best part was the incredible, helpful, kind staff. There really made me feel welcome and taken care of. I will return!

it's a couple place looking for romance moments
Actually, it was a nice place from the moment the reception are welcoming us with a delicious candy to the moment we left. It is in the secure area with a security gate, but there is nothing around. We had difficulty to find any entertainment in the neighborhood.

Lovely peaceful spot with very attentive owners and staff who really cant do enough to help you out. Car is essential, as in most areas of Cape Town, and you have to fight your way through the usual rush hour traffic if you want to be in town early in the morning. But lovely area, up-market residential, and on the right side of the city to visit the lovely Cape peninsula, Kirstenbosch, Hout Bay and experience some of the best wines in the constantia area

Superb Accomadation. '5star.'
We really enjoyed our stay at Summit Place. It was in a beutiful location and convenient for both Cape Town, V&A Water Front (25 Mins) and the Vineyards nearby. We had the run of the amazing house with beautiful lounge and basment with giant TV. Good size pool and lovely patio, where you can have breakfast at 60Rand (£5). Both Jako and Tendi made us very welcome and helped us sort out our daily plans. A very conveniant Restaurant (3Mins) Peddlers serves great food and wine, highly recommended. We met some great people also staying there from Australia,(Lorry and Christine) , wish I was still there.

A lovely place to stay
A very comfortable B&B set in an outstanding area of Cape Town. The staff and management made our stay memorable and couldn't have been more helpful. A real home from home. Should I return to Cape Town I would never stay anywhere else. Information and photos on the internet did not do Summit Place justice.

THIS PROPERTY HAS BECOME MY FAVORITE HOTEL IN THE WORLD. AS A PILOT I TRAVEL THE WORLD AND I AM OVERWHELMED BY THE LOCATION, THE SERENITY, THE EFFICIENCY, AND WARMTH I EXPERIENCED AT THIS HOTEL. THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY, WELCOMING, AND HARD WORKING. THE MANAGEMENT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE MY STAY AS PLEASANT AND WORRY FREE MEETING ALL MY DEMANDS WITH KINDNESS AND A "CAN DO" ATTITUDE. Excellent value for money. The house is a boutique hotel set in the great surroundings of Constantia, the best neighborhood to stay in Cape Town. The guest house is in perfect condition and offers all the amenities a hotel will if not more. A note apart for Michael and Tandy that made our stay a real pleasure with valuable recommendations and a delicious English breakfast. Take into account that you will need a car to move around (like anywhere else in SA).

Wunderschönes Guest House in den Weinbergen
Alles Top - Zimmer und Garten wunderschön, Lage super. Frühstück toll! Ausnahme: das Team war arrogant und richtig herablassend. Zum Schluss gab es bei unserer Abreise eine sehr unangenehme Situation, bei der wir festgehalten wurden, weil wir angeblich die Minibar nicht bezahlt hätten (wir haben gar nichts genutzt...) Der Service also zieht es runter, Schade! Ansonsten hätte ich volle Punkte verteilt!!

Au calme à Constantia et pourtant très proche de tout ce que Cape Town a à offrir, cette maison d'hôte réalise le sans faute : des chambres très confortables, une vue exceptionnelle, un superbe jardin, une jolie piscine, un personnel adorable toujours aux petits soins, un petit déjeuner à base de produits frais et généreusement servi. Ankunft kurz vor 13 Uhr - sehr freundlicher Empfang - nach einer kurzen Einführung und Vorstellung des Hotels wurden wir zu unserem Zimmer geführt, das trotz frühzeitiger Ankunft bereits verfügbar war. Wir haben insgesamt 2 Nächte in dieser Unterkunft verbracht, waren den ganzen Tag unterwegs (Mietwagen empfehlenswert) und haben das Hotel als zentralen Startpunkt für unsere Ausflüge nach Kapstadt und den südlichen Teil der Kaphalbinsel genutzt.

Hotel idéal pour rayonner dans la région du Cap
Nous avons passé 3 nuits et avons regretté l'avoir trop vite par la suite. L'hôtel est trés bien situé pour permettre de rayonner sur la régiion du Cap, y compris la région des vignobles. Le cadre est trés agréable et l'accueil est sympatique. Petit déjeuner gourmand. Nous avons des soucis à notre arrivée (perte de bagages) et la réception nous a bien aidé pour communiquer avec l'aéroport.

En stor villa i det rolige Constantia. Lidt væk fra storbyen, så egen bil er en god ting. En dejlig stor have og en pool giver gode muligheder for at hygge og slappe af på Guest House. Sammenlignet med andre B&B er det en lidt skrabet morgenmad til ZAR 80,-

Ruhig und chillig, ein Traum in Kapstadt
Sehr freundlicher Empfang, wir wurden bereits erwartet und man hat uns das Tor geöffnet. Das Hotel erkennt man von außen nicht als solches, also nicht abschrecken lassen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, wunderbar eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit einer großen geteilten Veranda für drei Zimmer mit Blick auf Garten, Pool und Tafelberg. Das Bett war sehr gut, das Zimmer konnte fast komplett abgedunkelt werden, was auch nicht selbstverständlich ist. Neben einer komplett eingerichteten Küche hatten wir im Badezimmer sowohl Wanne als auch eine sehr gute Dusche. Tipptopp sauber. Für den Service würde ich gerne mehr Sterne vergeben, nett, zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit. Das F.rühstück sollte man sich auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen. Frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Klasse! Wenn wir wieder mal nach Kapstadt kommen werden wir definitiv wieder hier buchen!

Nice guest house, righ between cape point and cape town center
The guest house is situated in the nice, quiet, green area constantia. You will definitely need a car to get there, but the location is quite central if you want to explore the surroundings of cape town and not only the city. Just 5 or 10 minutes drive away are the botanical guardens, from which you can also hike up e table mountain. The estate of constatia is also nearby and it is easy to drive along the coast and go to cape point. The center is of cape town is about half an hour away, so if you want to be in the center a lot, I would suggest you get something there. The guest house includes a kitchen which we used to cook and meant we didn't have to go to a restaurant every night. People are friendly, although we didn't experience the friendliness described in the other reviews. Still, definitely a guest house to recommend.
