Comfortable stay and great staff
Booked this hotel at last minute and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and had everything you would expect. Excellent customer service and a breakfast you don't want to miss. The location is perfect for exploring Cape Town and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. I would stay there again.

Staff very friendly and place clean. BUT A/C is old and very noisy while windows can’t be opened. Pillows too thick and hard. Consequently : not much sleep

It was quite an underwhelming stay. Saw quite a few cockroaches.TV channels are almost non existent.Breakfast good but overall I would only use this so called hotel as a very very very very last option.If you value your money please spend it somewhere else

A home away from home
From the moment you arrive, you are treated like family. The room is spacious and well maintained. The breakfast is wonderful with eggs prepared to your liking, meats and cheeses, fruit bowls, yogurt, muffins, and delicious breads for toast. Wash them down with a choice of three juices or expresso or strong, robust coffee. Any one on the staff is willing to make your stay a comfortable one. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel in a loud area
The hotel was really nice, great rooms, great staff and facilities. It was just a shame about the area it was in. Didn’t feel safe going out without the car and also it was very loud until late at night. I will reiterate that the staff and hotel was fantastic just shame about the area.

Fairly comfortable stay, staff are courteous and helpful. Breakfast is great. Surprised that there's no ironing facility in the rooms.

Comfortable Hotel Good Location
We stayed for three nights in October. The Parliament Hotel is simple but very comfortable. Our room was recently renovated, clean and quiet. The hotel is within a few minutes walking distance to Long Street and many of Cape Town's sights. Wifi was good and the breakfasts were excellent.

Very Nice Hotel near City Centre
Very centrally located, with friendly professional staff. The room was spacious with many TV channels. I would highly recommend this hotel as very good value.

The customer service was exceptional. Freda at the front desk was incredibly helpful and gracious. The hotel staff was quick to fix an issue with our tub within minutes and treated up remarkable well. Book far in advance though as it frequently is sold out

Central Location
Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful. The included breakfasts are very good. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk to popular Greenmarket Square and Long Street. The Perseverance Tavern, the oldest pub in South Africa, is a 7 minute walk.

the staff was extra friendly. they helped me in many ways. they arranged tours and recommended tours. thanks to Dominic, Itah, Phillip, Freda and others. the first day I got taxi to get home from Long Street. then I got comfortable and walked even at 10pm. it is safe.

Nice place in a central location
A relatively old building with dated fittings. Its like walking down the corridors of an 80s hotel. The rooms and bathroom however are clean and spacious. Nothing untoward. Good location - walking distance to greenmarket sq, city tour busses, car rentals, restaurants etc. WiFi is not great - keeps disconnecting. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking is very expensive and is located all the way up the building - a good 3 minute drive!! Breakfast is very mediocre. Overall good value for the buck.

It is very reasonable place and a truly rated 3 star hotel. Customer services are outstanding. If the location ia at a better place, then the hotel is highly recommended. However it is a very good hotel for the price.

Fantastic stay.
Wonderful hotel. All the staff were most accommodating. Large room and very comfortable. Great bed and pillows. Good breakfast. Only minus is area very quiet at night: must go several blocks to find a restaurant.

Lovely stay
Check in was efficient and quick. Odessa was very helpful. Antonio is a great source of local info and very politically informative. Please go to Cousins, the hotel restaurant next door, it is amazing but book early. Local area seems a bit dodgy but we walked around at night and it seemed fine. Good location and all the staff were helpful and went out of their way to help. We would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for making our stay so lovely.

This is a clean mid-priced hotel with a helpful and friendly staff that is in a marginal neighborhood (although centrally located), and could use some room upgrades. There is a fantastic pasta restaurant next door, but very few decent eating spots nearby we could find. The streets get a little dicey after dark with few businesses open (other than fry shops), and a fair number of beggers and the homeless. The room was comfortable, as was the mattress, but the shower curtain was too short.

The hotel over all was so simple and nice. good for relaxation time. The location is great, well accessible to all main attractions like water front area and table mountain. Close to Darling bus station (My city bus). Food is so nice. Room was so clean and well prepared. Staff and more than being helpful, welcoming and professional.
