I know that it was Thanksgiving and staff was off, but I was a little disappointed that there was no coffee maker in the room, and that I had to plug the fridge in and wait for it to cool down, little things that I would have just expected to have at the ready. There certainly was a coffee maker on the main floor, but although the place seemed pretty empty, I was booked into a room on the third floor. Anyway, all in all, the bed was great, the room was almost too warm, but I opened the outside door for a bit and cooled it down, and the silly little things didn't matter, once I settled in. Had a great meal at Napi's on Freeman, and a few nice walks around town. The Parisian Bakery just down the street is always a treat, and I was thrilled to pick up a few awesome pastries! On the whole, the hotel is a lovely place.

Waterford ticks all the boxes!
We love the Waterford Inn! Comfortable rooms, convenient to all things P-Town, and great views of the harbor from many of the rooms.

We liked the proximity to town, and the homey feel of the building, being a large, old house. It was very clean and comfortable. At night, too much light from exterior lights (nearby buildings, street lighting etc.) was coming in the windows. Curtains or some other way of keeping out the light at night would be great!

Perfect Stay in a unique place
Had a great friends trip and a wonderful stay . The location is walkable to pretty much everything. There’s a great bookstore right across the street . The room we had was a long with a private balcony and it was everything. We could hear the ocean as we went to sleep and have coffee and wine on the balcony . Everything was very comfortable and we were even given wine glasses for our room . There’s a lovely courtyard as well and the ambiance is great . Keep in mind that it is an old house with creepy floors and you can hear when doors open and close . This didn’t bother us at all and we were on the top floor - but the people below us did come up to ask us to be quiet - so keep this in mind .

No Parking
Had major problem getting parking as we pretty much had to find on our own. Found out from a member of housekeeping after paying almost $100 for parking blocks away that there was parking across the street. When inquired about parking on the Sunday of our trip thinking some guests may have checked out, the Inn Keeper said “I’m not working today”. This set a mood for sure. Nice place and great location.

Not recommended!
We paid about $550 to $600 a night for a 7 night stay here for the larger room / suite. It was an utter waste of money. No front of house staff, not even someone to help at check-in. No daily clean / housekeeping and limited opportunity to speak in person to anyone in charge. No breakfast included, nothing. We even didn’t have hot water on our final day - not that we could tell anyone about it! I messaged the number a few times and we were ultimately refunded $340 - which was an appreciated gesture, but a small one at that given the above. I’d definitely not recommend staying here.

Cool place but under staffed and quirky
Quirky place. Not professionally run which is the fault of the owner, not the staff. Place had lots of random stuff lying everywhere like dirty towels and in need of more storage. Still I enjoyed my stay because I loved the room. The room was not very expensive. Had it been I would have been disappointed. But they need to hire more people. Seems like the staff is very stressed and over worked. But they try and are nice 😊

The Waterford Inn is beautiful and quaint and just lovely. The only thing that was "off" was that there isn't anyone at the front desk. When we arrived, our keys and info were in an envelope on the desk. No one was ever there to answer questions, etc.

This was a centrally located place to stay. So close to shopping and restaurants. No off street parking. Staff was very hard to find. Included breakfast was a $6 per person voucher for a nearby deli. It is a great deli, but this paid for part of a breakfast at most. We had to find the staff every morning to issue new vouchers. Most days this took multiple phone calls—very frustrating as we couldn’t locate anyone. Vouchers should be given out up front to avoid this every morning. The private balcony is a small landing at the top of stairs leading to multiple rooms two locked doors away from the room. Not really private or a balcony at all.

The Waterford Inn was clean, perfectly located and the staff was so attentive. Although it was costly, there was a convenient lot almost directly across the street. Such a pleasant stay.

Everything was really nice and comfy. Location was perfect. It was hard to find staff and rooms weren't turned over everyday. But maybe I had to ask for that, it was very unclear. Coffee was in the lobby some mornings and not there other mornings. And when it was there, there weren't always cups. Overall the day to day policies and procedures were not clear. Either way. It was a really nice place and will stay again. Next time I will just ask more questions.
