This hotel needs renovation. 1 star is what it deserves. Their was a musty smell in room . Not worth the price

not at all what I expected.

The view was Terrible, the ac barely worked. The set up was uncomfortable and having to ask to use the pool and jacuzzi was ridiculous! I would never stay there again

Good location, great staff

Posted 22-Sep-2014
Pros: Location, staff
Cons: The older rooms need updating and mold removal. The rooms on the right side, first floor are dark, musty/moldy smelling and need refurbishing badly.
Location: Go to the Black Cat Tavern just a few doors down; this is the best restaurant (ambiance, food, value) on the street.
Although this is an older hotel, the newer rooms/wings aren't bad. Our original room was an old one and we requested a change, which they weren't able to do the first night. They moved us the second day to a much nicer room (larger, brighter, newer), and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. I didn't have to call them the first morning, they called me to find out if I wanted to move and then let me preview the room to make sure it was OK. They care about their customers, which means a lot. The location is conveniently across the street from the main harbor (you can catch boats over to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, as well as sightseeing or fishing cruises) and a few-minute walk to all the shops/restaurants on Main Street. There's free parking and WiFi.

Decent hotel good location. Nothing special.

Did not enjoy the walk from the parking lot to our room, too many ramps, stairs and locked doors so we got lost a few times getting there on our arrival. The room was smaller than expected and the shower was horrible, switching from hot to cold with no warning at all. The location of the hotel was great, right near the ferry and a short walk to main st where there are plenty of bars/restaurants. The pool/lounge area looked nice buy it was already September when we stayed so we didn't get to enjoy it, same as the restaurant on site, which closed very early even though it was only the second weekend past labor day.

Basic motel

Good location if hopping to the islands but this is an expensive hotel for what it is. Shabby interior , mediocre facilities no frills. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean and tidy.

Great location

Posted 9-Sep-2014
Pros: It is very easy to access, has sufficient parking, spacious rooms, outdoor fire pit and large chess board for a relaxing evening.
Cons: The staff at the front desk were not very friendly. They were efficient but not welcoming.
Location: Location is great. Within walking distance to the Harbor, cruises and ferries, JFK Memorial, and other attractions. We felt very safe in the area.
Hotel was just off the Harbor. Local attractions were all within a short walking distance. The restaurant on site was excellent with very friendly staff. The hotel has recently been updated and the room furnishings were very nice and comfortable. Parking is available on site, which is a big plus for the area. Highly recommend and am likely to return with my family.

Cons: Holes in bathroom wall, tub didn't drain, refrigerator noisy.
Location: ferries and docks across the street. great restaurant next door The Black Cat Tavern
the hotel is in a good location for the ferries and good places to eat in Hyannis. Older hotel some rooms not fully updated.
