Long weekend with family

Posted 19-Aug-2014
Pros: Location, guest services, cleanliness, pool and restaurant.
I was nervous about the hotel because I had read some reviews that where not that good. My experience was great! Great location, walking distance to great restaurants and to Main street, walking distance to ferry and to the beach. Hotel was clean, staff was really accommodating, restaurant was excellent. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice, but the photos were slightly misleading.

Posted 16-Aug-2014
Pros: Two pools, outdoor seating by a fire pit
Cons: Just exterior work.
Location: Right across the street is a marina where you can go on a day cruise. On the premises is a full service bar/restaurant.
The photos of this place are nicer then the actual hotel. However, that's not to say that the hotel was awful or disgusting. I still enjoyed my stay and really liked having the option of an indoor and an outdoor pool. The staff was fantastic and I really enjoyed sitting by the fire pit each night with my girlfriend.

Ehh

Online pictures where a bit deceiving. Kudos to the photographer and lighting team. The pool and outside area was great. Rooms not so much. One of the smallest outdated bathrooms I've see in awhile. Tip. Request a room with a pool view! If you have an exterior room, your view will be of the ferry parking lot....

Good, clean hotel, great location

Posted 12-Aug-2014
Pros: twin double beds in each room, pool, bar, restaurant, staff
Cons: Decor is a bit dated but all clean and in good order
Location: Right on the port, loads of great eateries nearby, right near to the ferries for Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard
The hotel is brilliantly located for Cape Cod site seeing and for the boats to Martha's vineyard and Nantucket. Great swimming pool facilities for adults and kids, brilliant pool bar and restaurant from breakfast until dinner. Washing machines to wash your kit whilst travelling. Beware breakfast is extra at $11.95 a head (worth it for the convenience of the buffet) and parking is an extra $15 a day. Really friendly staff, thanks for a great stay!

Very convenient to ferries.

Posted 10-Aug-2014
Pros: Great location. Room was very spacious and clean. Grounds were beautifully landscaped.
Cons: Shelves in bathroom could be added. Front desk clerks could be more welcoming.
Location: Very convenient for trips to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Traffic on the Cape is horrendous; we wasted hours trying to get places.
Front desk personnel were not too welcoming. A $15 a day parking fee was an unpleasant surprise. The lack of an elevator was a problem; we were on the second level with bad knees and had to lug bags up a spiral staircase. Bathroom was clean but very poorly laid out.

Not worth the money

Posted 4-Aug-2014
Pros: The outdoor pool
Cons: The room was outdated and sub-standard
Location: Alot of nearby activities
Nice outdoor pool but room was marginal. Perk to also have an indoor pool but also very old and need of a serious paint job.

Walking distance to the ferries and the beach.

Posted 1-Aug-2014
Pros: Beds were very clean. Nice pool. Enjoyed our dinner in the onsite restaurant.
Cons: Our room was on the 2nd floor and I could not carry my suitcase up the stairs. The room smelled mildewy once the ac had been running for a while.
Location: We wished we had more time to spend in town. We visited the beach and the ferries were directly across the street.
When we arrived we discovered my husbands glasses had broken. The front desk was excellent in finding a place for us to get them fixed. Very impressed with the support we were provided with.
