“Excellent service, great hotel”
When we checked in Pat was at the front desk and was friendly and helpful. The next morning when we went to the little lobby for continental breakfast (pastries, muffins, OJ, coffee/tea/cocoa) Pat was there and asked how we slept. We admitted our teen son was kept awake by our snoring. She called the maintenance people and got our son a pair of disposable ear plugs for free! That's good service. The room was simple, very clean, comfortable, nice bathroom and very attractive flowered bedspreads and curtains. Plenty of drawers for our stuff and counter space in the bathroom. There were number of lovely flowers around the hotel. The grounds were attractive, but not as landscaped or as extensive as I expected. It was an easy walk to the shops and restaurants on Commercial Street. Wonderful experience, and the next time we come to Provincetown we would definitely want to stay here again.

Outstanding, I'm grateful
“very nice hotel”
nice hotel out
“Great location, friendly staff.”
We stayed at this hotel on June 3oth, just before prices went up for July. It was, and still will be an excellent value due to its cleanliness, lovely setting on the hill, and friendly, helpful staff. As long as you don't mind walking up and down the hill to get to town, the location is in walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bike rentals.
“Definately will return”
Beautiful quiet location in regards to the center of town, just a short walk to the center and hustle of Provincetown. It was very peaceful sitting by the pool, and I was very happy that there was a choice of shade or sun. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the little fridge came in very handy. All in all a most enjoyable stay.
“Looking forward to my next stay there!”
I love the place and I was completely satisfied. I highly recommend it. The rates were affordable and I love the pool. The staff was very friendly and ready to serve your needs.
“This hotel should not be overlooked!”
This is a wonderful hotel. The grounds are beautiful, the pool was cool and clean. The rooms were clean. It's not a fancy place at all - the style is very dated but it remains very clean and it's not at all neglected. The in room refrig was great - the breakfast was some bananas, oranges and different pound cakes - not the best choices so having milk and cereal in our room was very nice. Parking is really hard in Provincetown so having your car so close to your room is a luxury in town! We were able to walk down to the breakwater in the morning, nice and quiet. We had beautiful sunsets from our room. It's an easy walk to town. We really love this place. We usually stay in Guest Quarters Suites when we travel because we're 4 in our family and we love our hot breakfasts and love having the extra living space. These rooms are standard - 2 beds, a table, tv armoire and a little counter space. This place certainly isn't new or modern but it is really clean, the staff really nice and just a beautiful place to stay.
“Chateau Provincetown”
Great place to stay. Room was very clean, grounds immaculate, great location. Best hotel Ive been at on the cape. It was so nice that I am going back in August for a 4 nite trip. Highly recommend this hotel. You can walk to commercial street, rent bikes across the street and great restaurant just outside the hotel (Victors). You will be very happy if you book this hotel for your stay on the cape.
“A lovely place to return to”
We have stayed at The Chateau several times over the past few years. The quality is consistently high. Even at the end of the season, the hotel and grounds were still fresh, clean and well cared for.
“great value!”
Very comfortable, motel-style, large room with fridge, safe, wifi, cable. Very clean. We had wonderful service from the friendly staff, including recommendations for restaurants and places to park in town. Breakfast is simple - coffee, tea, juice, pastries, fruit. The people here are top notch. And the view from the hilltop is gorgeous.
