Pros: It was a last minute decision to visit the Cape. We were lucky to find a decent room.
Cons: The refrigerator could be a bit larger. It barely fit a couple of bottles of water.
Location: Close to the National Seashore and all the restaurants we enjoy!
The nicest staff works at this inn. Any requests were immediately fulfilled with a pleasant smile! Very lovely people work here!

Room was very small.. Picnic area was not appealing.. Grills were dirty and picnic tables were rotted. Should have that barbecue area improved.

Pros: The pool.
Cons: Improve decoration of the room. All very simple.
Location: Beaches, restaurants. Great location
Simple place to stay, but with a great shower and wonderful pool to go after spending the entire day at the beach.

Pros: Good location. Fast WiFi
Cons: Needs renovation.
The hotel is a single-story crescent of rooms with a road around the outside and parking places opposite each room. The room size was OK but the interior was well-worn and the air-conditioning wasn't up to the job. The outdoor pool was rather small and not heated. The staff were friendly and the free WiFi was fast. Overall, the hotel was OK for a night. We wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer.

Clean and Quiet

Posted 1-Aug-2014
Pros: CLEAN! Relatively inexpensive for a room on Cape Cod in season.
Location: Ten minutes or less from Coast Guard Beach, the Nauset Lighthouse, and Arnold's.
Room was exactly as advertised: a clean, comfortable room that was very close to Cape Cod National Sea Shore. Check-in was completed in two minutes and we were in the pool in five! No noise issues from the nearby highway nor from the adjoining rooms. Beds were clean and very comfortable, though I will admit we were exhausted from a day on the beach and could have slept on anything that didn't have sand. We would have no issues staying at the Blue Dolphin Inn in the future.

Our stay was short because it was a place to rest and get on road in am. but it was very nice and fresh. I would go back again

Very good value

Posted 26-Jul-2014
Pros: The litttle patio in a wooded area which each room has.
Cons: A bit more light near the door
Location: Easy access to great beaches, good restaurants and Provincetown.
We spent 3 nights at The Blue Dolphin and were very happy with our accommodations. The people on staff were friendly and helpful, the room clean, and the beds and pillows comfortable. A very good moderately priced motel.

Okay for a one night stay

Posted 9-Jul-2014
Room wasn't completely cleaned when we got there (old trash behind fridge). Couldn't use the shower because it was clogged. Not a terrible place to stay if you abdolutely need a place to sleep for a night, and it is close to the beach which is nice. Overall, definitely way overpriced for the quality.
