The hotel was fine, close to many things, breakfast didn't have a great selection, seemed like powdered eggs, over cooked meats, and there wasn't enoughhelp/ Our server was a great very sweet lady most days, but the second waitress wasn't attentive. Friend desk staff - Derek I think - was awesome.

Convinent location to ferry boat to Newfoundland. Comfortable room and friendly staff. Voucher for contentinal breakfast in diningroom. Nice area if you like to walk.

“Clean and reasonable”

We stayed in one of the only rooms that had not yet been renovated so it was a little worn and dated.

“Courteous staff, large well appointed room”

Had the king bed, came with a large room, comfortable, but the bed was starting to wear (ruts). Good buffet dinner, breakfast too, nice people. I'd go back.

If you're looking for a comfortable stay in Sydney NS, this hotel will do the trick. The room I stayed in was very clean and had an incredible view of the Sydney Harbour. Service upon check in was friendly and sincere. My only constructive criticism was of the room service, which I really wanted to try, but tried twice to get through and no one answered. Comfort, Cleanliness, VIew? Yes, yes, yes. Room Service...Unfortunately no. Still, for the Days Inn Sydney NS, 3 out of 4 ain't bad.

“Great Value”

This is not a 5 star hotel....but then, I cannot afford that kind of luxury. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was nice and quiet, whichwas surprising, considering it is next to the main road in Sydney. We were able to do our laundry, which was a huge bonus! The only thing bad about the place was that there were no elevators and we had to walk a long way to get to our room. There was no busboy service. We ate at the restaurant, but were not impressed with the food. I had the homemade soup which although was hot was over salted. My husband had the lasagna, which for his taste was too dry and rather bland, but it wasn't absolutely awful, just disappointing. This hotel is nice and close to the ferry to Newfoundland, which was the main reason we chose to stay here.

Very friendly hotel staff. Despite of old facilities, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic! Much better than most of the same level hotels.

“Lovely -- great price, wonderful service”

Stayed here overnight before going to the ferry in North Sydney. Nice clean, comfortable room -- nothing fancy but amazing view of the water. Cute "Grab-and-Go" free breakfast - breakfast bar, muffin and juice... just enough when you are on the move early.

This hotel was very friendly and rooms were spacious and clean. The gym and pool were nice luxuries to have.
