Guests can book rooms at The Westin Resort & Spa Cancun for a rate that is either for the room only or for all-inclusive. The Heavenly Spa by Westin provides massage, body wraps and scrubs, and facials--as well as hair and nail care and waxing--and includes a Vichy shower, women's and men's saunas and steam rooms, and a relaxation lounge containing a 3.75-meter-diameter (13-foot) spa tub. The spa's fitness center (daily surcharge) contains free weights, weight machines, and cardio machines with televisions and headphones. A mirror-lined workout studio offers complimentary spinning, aerobics, and Pilates classes. A business center includes three computers with high-speed Internet connections (surcharges).

The Westin Kids Club, located on the lagoon side of the property, offers indoor and outdoor activities for guests (ages 4-12). A traditional Mayan sauna, known as a temazcal, on the lagoon beach features heated volcanic stones, aromatic scents, and soothing music (surcharge). The hotel purifies its water.

Opened in August 2006, the Westin Workout Powered by Reebok facility provides fitness opportunities for adult guests.

Sunrise Bar - Located above Caribbean Sea beach. Open late morning to early evening for burgers, pizza, sandwiches, seafood, and Mexican specialties, tropical drinks.

Sunset Bar - Caribbean and lagoon views. Open late morning to early evening for tropical drinks.

Lobby Bar - Specializes in tequilas. Pool table. Television. Open late afternoon to late night.

El Palmar - Multi-level restaurant featuring recessed ceilings, plants, and small trees. Terrace seating. Mexican/Continental menu.

Arrecifes Ristorante - Intimate dinner restaurant featuring Italian cuisine, seafood. Pianist nightly. Dress code: no shorts, athletic shoes.

Sunset Grill - Open-air terrace with Caribbean Sea view. Lunch menu including ceviche bar, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizza, pasta, steak, Mexican specialties. Dinner menu including ceviche bar, seafood stew, grilled steaks and fish.

Sea & Stones - Located beside the beach under a traditional palapa, this restaurant offers unmatched views of Cancun and the ocean. Its unique concept allows guests to cook items to their desire on hot stones. Beverage specialties include sangrias and local cocktails. Open from midday until late evening.

Brisa/Breeze - Located by the main pool. A wide variety of cocktails and snacks are available at this pool bar. Open from mid-morning until early evening.

This Cancun Westin features two beaches, one extending 400 meters (437 yards) along the Caribbean Sea and providing morning sun, and the other for afternoon sun extending 100 meters (109 yards) along Nichupte Lagoon, a large body of placid water fringed by mangrove forests lying between Cancún Island and the mainland.

Fresh-water swimming options comprise a 14-meter-square (45-ft) main pool and four triangular pools, two for children, arrayed along a 55-meter (180-ft) terrace. On the lagoon side, the resort features a terrace with a 21-by-5.25-meter (70-by-17-ft) pool cascading into a 7.5-by-6-meter (25-by-20-ft) pool; a sundeck; a deck shaded by trees; and five interlocking cool-water spa tubs on the beach.

Although swimming is not permitted in the lagoon, independent operators on the beach offer personal watercraft and parasailing. Other water sports are available at AquaWorld Marina on the lagoon 4 km (2.5 mi) away. Guests have complimentary use of two rooftop artificial-grass tennis courts during the day, with a surcharge for night play.
