“Beautiful Hotel in Cancun.”
We had a great time!!!!. Clean, friendly staff, great location, good food and reasonable price for a big family like us.
“Pleasantly Surprised”
I was pleasantly surprised with the Royal Sands. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. In my estimation every room would have agreat view. The beach was clean and plenty of lounge chairs for the guests. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful and if there was a problem they were on top of it. Pools were clean and big enough to accomodate a lot of people. Every aspect of the Royal Sands exceeed my expectations.
“Five-Star Experience”
From the moment we entered the resort, we knew it was something special. Very well-maintained and clean. The staff on all levels are very courteous and friendly. We had the luxury of staying in both parts of the resort and we could watch the sunrise and set pretty much from our room. The restaurants and bars including the pool bars are outstanding and the dishes are prepared from fresh ingredients. The one and only complaint I have is that the restaurants didn't stay open late (after 9:30 or 10) including the sports bar (11:00). With the great facilities, staff and amenities, it's a place I definitely want to visit again.
“Accounting issues!”
The only negative was the checking out/receiving accounting of food and beverage charges. I never received a bill during the night of our last night and when I checked out, again I asked for an accounting but never received. We had an issue you several times with our key and so I wanted to see what the bill was...I am still waiting for them to e-mail my charges.
“Big thumbs up”
Beautiful hotel, excellent food, overall a wonderful experience
“Royal Resorts Cancun”
Its a great Condo/Hotel Resort. Very well maintained, friendly and efficient staff, and a great location.
“Great resort for families!”
Our family of 5 went to the Royal Sands for March Break and had a great time. The location is perfect. Drinks are pricey. We brought a cooler bag and brought our own cervezas to the beach and pool. There didn't seem to be any problem with that. The restaurants are expensive too but mostly we ate off site, other than a few lunches. Breakfasts and some lunches we did in the villa. Our favourite meals were at Captain's Cove, Salvio's and CenaCova. The resort provides a coupon book with discounts at many restaurants and these are all included. Our worst dining experience was at Senor Frogs. We paid more for that awful food and service than we did at the previously mentioned restaurants that are all so much nicer. We thought it would be fun but it is just a waste. The bus service up the Cancun strip is so convenient and affordable. We took a taxi to Walmart to stock up on food and drinks. It was $30 round trip so not sure it was worth it in the end. The store at the sands is great for groceries, prices are higher than Walmart but not too bad. The biggest saving was on beer and tequila at Walmart . We bought some margarita mix too and made our own in the blender in the villa. We also packed some basics in a suitcase and brought our own condiments, peanut butter, oatmeal, granola bars, etc. I would definitely do that again.
“defifinrtly will recommend”
We loved everything about it including how easy to get around a beautiful mall walking distance with many places to dine-------bus stop right in front--and wonderful restaurants across the street to select from---loved it!!!
“Already planning our next trip to the Royal Sands!”
We spent spring break at the Royal Sands and had a wonderful time. First and foremost, the weather was PERFECT!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had four teenagers in our party, and they had as much fun as the adults. The villa acccomodations gave us plenty of room, and we even had a Final Four party (not too loud) and nobody felt crowded. The beachfront is huge, the pools are lovely (and not crowded), and the swim-up bar had great drinks and sandwiches. With the grocery store onsite and the restaurant, La Veranda, serving an excellent breakfast buffet and dinners, we really didn't need to leave the property. The bus system is still super cheap and convenient, so you can go anywhere you want for next to nothing. Lots of people have asked about security down there. We had no problems at all.
“very nice hotel to stay in Cancun”
i am very satisfied with the hotel and the service, really beautiful beach and will stay there next time.
