“Perfect honeymoon”

We just returned from The Royal, after a week of sheer bliss. This hotel is absolutely fantastic!! The place itself is beautiful, and is kept spotless by a seeming army of cleaners. Almost without exception, the staff are fantastic, and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. The room was wonderful, and the view is just incredible. I miss it already, and will definitely be going back!! Ignore the (albeit it few and far between) negative reviews. I think some people expect perfection, and frankly there is no such thing. The Royal is about as close to perfection as I would expect from a hotel. I can't recommend this place enough.

“Very Impressed”

We just returned from our honeymoon at the Royal in Cancun and it was an amazing week. The service was great and the hotel was so wonderful. Such a beautiful place, we cant wait to go back. We did not visit any of the surrounding hotels, but as we were driving past them, we were very happy to be at the Royal. Adults only and all incluesive is the way to go.

We have nothing but praise for The Royal Cancun. We took an upgrade on the hotel room which gave us some privileges which we considered worthwhile as we were staying for 2 weeks. The Hotel, Lobby , Bar and Restaurants were beautiful. There were 6 Restaurants which offered an amazing variety of gourmet dinners, including French, Asian, Spanish and Mexican cousine. The all inclusive meal plan also included any variety of coffee, sweets and fruits offered in a coffee house. Service was excellent and very friendly. The pool area was well looked after and quite pretty with ample lounges and cabanas. The beach was gorgeous and kept very clean.

“Excellent resort”

We have no complaints whatsoever about this resort. Beautiful beach, pools, rooms, and all the restaurants on the resort were fantastic. The service was excellent, although when we first arrived they did try to pressure us to attend the timeshare presentation. Once we firmly said no, they backed off. When we checked in we opted to upgrade rooms from the second floor to the 7th floor and did not regret it.

We were very satisfied with every meal & top shelf liquor.it was great to have room service in the morning. We had an oceanfront room & loved it. Next time I would like to try the swim-out room. The staff was always pleasant. The only drawback was the timeshare sales pitch.

“We Loved It!”

We loved the Royal in Cancun! The hotel was beautiful...we loved our room, the spa, the pool, and all four of the restaurants (room service too)! They had great entertainment in the evenings. The food and drinks were excellent! I gained five pounds in three days that's how good it was! We are already planning our next trip at a sister hotel where we can bring our kids. However, for a romantic getaway, we loved the adult only atmoshpere of the Royal Cancun.

“Very Pleasant Stay”

The hotel was very nice and all inclusive, plenty of staff to assist with drinks and food. I would stay again for sure. The beach is a bit small, but I think that is from past hurricanes that came through . We did have a room mix up where they tried to give us a two queen bed room, when we ordered a king bed. For a small fee we upgraded (views are wonderful). Good rest. to eat and we never had to wait. Again, very enjoyable.
