The Royal Cancun by the Royal Resorts (formerly known as Club Internacional de Cancún) is a beautiful resort with fully equipped suites (968.21 ft2) located beside a sheltered beach in Cancun’s famous Hotel Zone. With breathtaking views of the bay looking east towards Isla Mujeres, the beach has shallow waters and gentle surf, making it ideal for families with kids.Famous for its home away from home ambiance, The Royal Cancun is the perfect vacation spot for families, offering spacious two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens and a variety of services for a week of fun.
Amenity Highlights
Soft white sand, shade umbrellas, palm trees and shallow waters make the beach ideal for families. Two large pools are set amidst colorful tropical gardens, and there’s a gym, three tennis courts and an activities program to keep guests entertained. The thatched beachfront restaurant is a popular choice for seafood and casual dining.The Royal Cancun is located at the heart of Cancun’s Hotel Zone, very close to shopping malls, nightclubs and golf courses and just a 30-minute drive from the airport. Downtown Cancun is just a 20-minute bus ride away. All Cancun Hotel Zone bus routes make a stop right in front of The Royal Cancun.

The Royal Cancun - Club Internacional de Cancun offers 201 fully equipped suites. Pillowtop beds feature down comforters, down blankets, and premium bedding. 32-inch LCD televisions come with cable channels, free movie channels, and DVD players. CD players and in-room safes (accommodate laptops) are provided along with direct-dial phones, free local calls, and voice mail. Full-sized refrigerators/freezers, stovetops, microwaves, and cookware/dishes/utensils are available in kitchens, allowing you to prepare and serve a light snack or a full meal. Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations, makeup/shaving mirrors, and hair dryers.
All suites feature balconies with ocean or garden views. Each suite has its own private terrace and depending on their location they offer magnificent views of golden sunsets across the mangrove forests and the Nichupte lagoon, the pools and gardens, or the bay looking east towards Isla Mujeres. Separate sitting areas, separate dining areas, and coffee/tea makers are also included. Cribs (infant beds) are also available.
Suites at The Royal Cancun - Club Internacional de Cancun are accessible via exterior corridors. All suites are equipped with central air-conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi connection. Daily housekeeping is provided except Sundays and Mexican holidays. All suites are non-smoking.

La Palapa Restaurant
Nestled between the main pool and the beach, La Palapa Restaurant offers spectacular views of the bay and Isla Mujeres, tropical decor and a menu of fresh seafood, Mexican and International dishes. The thatched eatery is a longtime favorite with guests who love the laid-back ambiance, the home-style recipes and the friendly waiters. There are theme nights and buffets on different nights during the week.
Diners can choose from the a la carte menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner or try one of the theme buffets offered during the week. Options include Taco & Fajita Night and a Caribbean Cookout with live music or lobster cooked to perfection on an open grill, for a romantic candlelit dinner on the beach.

Order your own pizza from the resort and it will be delivered to your suite.
Pool Bars
There are two pool bars serving a wide variety of Caribbean cocktails, frozen drinks and beers.
Royal Market
Guests may stock up on groceries, drinks and household items at this convenience store. The store features an extensive selection of imported and domestic goods, fruits, vegetables, dairy and deli produce, pharmacy, sun care, postcards and more. Free villa delivery service from 8am - 8pm.

Recreation
Families will enjoy the sheltered beach at The Royal Cancun (Club Internacional de Cancun), the shallow waters are ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Complimentary sailing lessons and free use of sailboats are available to all guests. Beach activities include volleyball and sand castle building and there are sun loungers and shade umbrellas.
There are two large pools and separate children’s pools, all of which are heated during the winter. Pool activities include water aerobics, pool volleyball and snorkeling demonstrations.
The daily resort activity program features yoga, aerobics, crafts and beach fun.Water sports such as snorkeling trips, scuba diving, windsurfing, fishing and boat trips can be arranged at the in-house travel agency.There are three lighted tennis courts at the resort and tennis gear can be signed out at the Sports Desk.

“love it, can't wait to go back”
the hotel is fantastic, facilities are very quiet and very clean, staff are very nice,polite and ready to help any time, serafina garcia our cleaning lady was fantastic also was juan jose ruiz and the rest of them, the beach is not that great but if you take the shuttle to the others resorts I can guarantee that you gonna have a great time. thank you guys. gracias

wow, this hotel was wonderful!! we loved all the actvities offered, the beautiful beach, georgeous pools, and the turtles! we loved that they offered many activities, such as water aerobics!! and the pretty pottery painting that was available. everyone was super nice and the room was beautiful. it has a fully equipped kitchen, full livingroom with comfortable couches, and very nice rooms and bathroom. it was spacious and clean. we absolutely have no complaints!!

I stayed in this hotel with my husband and our child and it was absolutely a great stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The children activities allowed my husband and I some alone time as well. Would recommend and would visit again.
“Friendly staff, clean room and beautiful gardens”
My family really enjoyed our stay here. The two bedroom villa was a perfect size for my family of four. One bedroom had a king size bed and the other had two twin beds. We liked having a kitchen to cook some of our meals in and it was also convenient to keep snacks and cold drinks in the kitchen of the villa. The property has two pools and beautiful garden areas. There is a koi pond with turtles as well as a rose garden. It was nice to be able to walk around the gardens areas, relax and forget about the three feet of snow back home! We also used the free shuttle to go to the Royal Sands beach on two days. It was nice to have this option as my teenage children enjoyed the surf at this beach more that at the Royal Cancun. My daughter also used the spa services and she said that the massage that she had relaxed her and fixed the tension and knots in her shoulders. Anyone who has a teenage daughter knows that having a happy teen make a vacation go much smoother! I would definately go back to Cancun and I would stay at either The Royal Cancun or The Royal Sands!

Belle endroit, piscinne adéquate pour adulte et jeune enfant. La plage n'est pas la plus belle que j'ai vu et pas adéquate pour adulte mais tranquille pour la baignage de jeune enfant . La chambre(Villa) était très chaleureuse, propre, grande, grandeur des pieces parfaites avec balcon à la chambre et au salon, super. Hotel très chaleureux, repas des resto excellent, bar agréable à la piscinne, Eau chaude en quantité et de bonne pression. Service à la chambre très rapide. Je recommende cette hotel et si je retourne a Cancun je retourne a cette hotel! Pour les jeune qui veulent sortir dans les bars c'est un peu loin des bars et tant mieux lol !
“Great for a relaxed family vacation.”
A great family vacation spot especially for families with young children or retirees who like some peace and quiet. The beach is very shallow and the wave action is very gentle. For teens, young adults, and not so young adults who want a little more action, just hop on the free round trip hotel shuttle bus to Royal Sands and enjoy the crashing waves and happening beach scene. You can check out towels at the sports desk and purchase drinks and food at the Royal Sands with your Royal Cancun pass. This beach is also an excellent spot for collecting sea shells. The multi room villa style makes you feel as if you are in your own home and being able to cook in the kitchen saved us alot of money. The kitchen comes with a blender and we made use of it daily for margaritas! The time share sales pitch was low key and non-agressive. We experienced no change in the awesome service or staff friendliness after we declined to purchase a unit. We definitely recommend this resort.

Great stay, wonderful room close to the beach, plan the dinner at the restaurants ahead as they were full when we called at noon. Kids ( 14,12 and 6) loved all of it ( mini bar, activities, beach, pool...)
“Wonderful Experience”
The villa was spacious and very clean. Actually the hotel was one of the best hotels that we have ever visited. The views were fantastic. The service was even better. A great place for any age of children, ours are college age and they loved it.
“Wonderful Resort”
I actually own a time share within this resort and purchased additional nights through expedia. Located on the "bay" side of Cancun, you are just a few short steps from the pool to the beach/ocean. Lots of activities for kids, good food, safe, and romantic. It's all there. I highly recommend the resort, have been going there for years.
