“May 2012”

We had a wonderful stay at The Beloved Hotel. The beach is very nice and best of all is the food and beverage service at the beach. The 24 hr room service was very good. The hotel can improve on their bed and pillows which was not the most comfortable. I would definitely consider going back to this resort.

“Honeymooners paradise”

We booked the junior ocean view suite. It looked exactly how it did in the photos; clean, modern and spacious. The room had an ocean view, but no room in the hotel is right on the beach so dont expect to see the entire ocean only. There was also a jacuzzi tub inside that was just a step from the balancy door so you could look out while you enjoy the bubbles. The bed ws a little firm but we called down and asked for extra padding and they came right up and fixed our bed. There is a free mini bar stocked with beer, sodas and waters. They clean your room twice a day, the best was the turn down service at the end of the day. The food was amazing!Three restaurants and all had quality food and outstanding classy service. The resort has a great spa, best massages we have had. Definitely a lot of honeymooners, couples and coulples with new born babies stayed here. The hotel was extremely quiet, definitely a spa relaxation resort. Live music every night but no real night life which was what we wanted. We visted the hotels on the main strip on cancun and we were so glad with our decision. It seemed to us that the hotels in cancun were like vegas on a beach, dirty and no unique food just tourisity bubba gump, chillies etc you can get anywhere in the US. The hotel also has a private beach thats shared with the hotel next door so super clean and peaceful. Personal waiter will serve you drinks and food on the beach day! Perfect honeymoon and we cant wait to go back!

“Wonderful hotel!! Very relaxing!!”

This hotel is beautiful!! The grounds we clean and well maintained. It has a beautiful stretch of beach. We never had a hard time finding a lawn chairmor day bed. The service is outstanding. Anything you needed they gladly provided. The spa was stunning and had everything you could want and more. There were a few down falls. The resort is far from a lot of attractions and it's an expensive cab ride to get places. Also the food Is pretty average. Having said that I would still recommend getting the all inclusive package since your so far away from other options. Despite that I would stay there again in a heartbeat. If you want to go somewhere and forget what time it is then this is the place for you.

“Even the great reviews won't prepare you”

I obsessively read each of the previous reviews for this hotel and other properties. At one point, I considered that I shouldn't read any more reviews because I might miss out on the delightfully wonderful surprises. Not. You really do have to experience it. My husband did not read the reviews; he's also not impressed with much of anything... except La Amada Hotel. Everything that everyone said before us is true. We enjoyed the food. I should note, however, that my husband is vegetarian and would have appreciated more options. By the way, we were at the hotel for our ENTIRE trip due to stormy weather. This was an unexpected disappointment, but we're a young professional couple and benefitted from the relaxing days and a few trips to the amazing spa. We took advantage of the specials pretty much whenever we wanted :-) Given that the weather was so bad, it would have been nice to be in the hotel distract to (maybe) venture off, but I'm not sure if that's a fair assessment. We still may have stayed put (and the La Amada was a delightful place to be "stuck").

“Excellent!”

Really good vacation. Everything was great. July is a very hot and humid month and it was hard to keep the humidity out of the room, in spite of the air conditioning. Breakfast buffet is AMAZING! The best ever! Staff is wonderful. Limited choice of restaurants (2) but food is good.

“perfect stay”

We drove to the resort from the airport bypassing the Hotel zone. As we drove my wife and I both had this look of apprehension, as we seemed to be the only car heading north on this dim lit road. We finally arrived and were both quite pleased at the "feel" of the hotel. When we got to our room that sealed the deal; it was perfect. The service was top notch and not at all intrusive. This is NOT the place to stay if you are looking for lots of active nightlife. But if what you are seeking is a superb facility, excellent staff service and R&R it can't be beat. We are definitely planning a return and have invited several friends as well. A++!!

“My best experience!”

I have visited Cancun plenty of times, and this was the best. Water sounds all around, good music, never overpowering, good food, delicious breads, the room in itself a spa and a place to relax and not feel cramped, no one at the beach offering a massage or silver every five minutes (like in Acapulco)... Highly recommended!

“For someone who travels for their job and lives in hotels...this hotel exceeds all expectations!”

This hotel goes above and beyond making your stay a memorable one. From the glass of champagne upon our arrival to the conceierge who went above and beyond to send us to the best places, I would go back tomorrow if I could. This is truly a place for you to relax and enjoy the quiet of a luxury vacation. I would give them 5 stars plus if it was posssible.

“Gorgeous hotel though a little on the quiet side”

This was a 5 day family vacation for my husband and I and our three teenage children, 14, 17 and 18. I read all the reviews about the hotel and it definitely sounded fantastic but I was a little concerned that there may not be enough for everyone to do. As expected the hotel was wonderful, we had 2 junior suites which were fabulous and plenty big enough for the kids to share, they loved the ipod docking station, flat screen tv and huge balcony. The service was exceptional, though the hotel was only at 50% capacity. We rented a car from the airport for the duration of our stay, I would have felt very isolated if we had not had a car. It was very short drive to the ferry port to Isla Mujeres, which I would highly recommend. Even though it is a wonderful hotel I am not sure I would go back, not quite enough to do.
