Property Amenities
The majority of amenities, activities, and gratuities at this resort are included in the room rate; guests will not be charged extra for the majority of amenities and activities (scroll up to the All-Inclusive Details section for more information). Located on the north side of Cancun at the tip of the seaside fishing village of Puerto Juarez, the gateway to Isla Mujeres, this 160-room resort parallels the Caribbean with two wings that rise three and four stories high. In front of the resort's northern wing is a large marina. Sea Adventure Resort & Water Park All Inclusive has wood beams, fountains, and bright-color accents inside; a huge wrought-iron chandelier in the lobby contributes to the resort's rustic charm. A 40 foot multi-level structure named the Tree House provides access to a set of four water slides that, varying in size and amusement characteristics, run into the 2657 square ft / 810 m2 plunge pool. Decorated with symbolic animals of the region, this platform also has an enormous bucket of water that squirts 7 feet of water, creating a waterfall. The Tree House is suitable for children older than 8 years and the supervision of an adult is recommended. Nestled in the heart of the water park of Sea Adventure Resort, a 13-hole mini golf course spans a 3,608 square foot area that, shaped as a half moon offers a unique design in which synthetic grass sets amongst landscaped gardens and stone paths, Mayan style. The Resort also offers wedding services including a complimentary wedding planner (with purchase of wedding package) to assist in coordinating the details of the ceremony. Guests can swim up to a bar in the main pool. There is a separate children's pool and a multi-structure water slide; the resort also offers three outdoor spa tubs. A 68-meter (75-yard) section of beach is sheltered by an artificial reef, offering calm-water swimming. Across the street is a 350-seat air-conditioned theatre where live entertainment, often preceded by a buffet dinner, is offered weekly. High-speed Internet access is available, and like all major Cancún hotels, the hotel has a water-purification system. This property is wheelchair-accessible.

“Blue Bay Getaway is now my favorite place in Cancun”
We got to Blue Bay Club and it had been OVER BOOKED! They were going to put us up at another place that was very nice, but not in an area that we wanted to be in. (This was our 2nd week in Cancun, so we had an idea what area we would like to stay in) We told them that we really didn't want to be in that area. So they offered to have us stay at their resort for only one night and then we could go to their sister resort- the Blue Bay Getaway. It was WONDERFUL!! It was also all-inclusive, but to make matters even better, it was Adults only. This was the best vacation I have had in years. I love children, but when I go on vacation without them, I would appreciate not having to notice that many children are NOT watched by their parents. Too often they Run around. Not so where we were. I will go back to the Getaway next time for sure!!! The people were very knowledgeable. The Food was GREAT! The staff members were great! Entertainment was available for those that wanted it. You could take the bus easily to go either direction, right in front of the resort. You may use this as a review for the Blue Bay Getaway because that is where we actually stayed. You may edit but not "change" my opinions. It was a Blessing in disguise when they told us that the resort was overbooked. Because of that, We had the BEST VACATION EVER.
“IT WAS A GREAT STAY...”
The Hotel was excellent. Me and my Fiancee enjoyed it so much. The drinks are ok not to strong, but what can you say it was an all inclusive. The only bad thing was the distance from the night clubs. We had to travel by taxi to get to downtown cancun, but besides that the stay at Blue Bay was marvelous.
“LOVED IT !!”
My daughters and I loved it all. The service, from "Bell Boys", to security guards. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. Food is excellent, hotel cleanliness and room, is excellent, as well. It's very family oriented. Next timee I go, we will stay there, again. We also loved that they have entertainers. They do games at pool, shows (on Hotel Theater), every other nite, and every night, at the Hotel's Lobby, the entertainers host games and competitions. It's super, super FUN!!
“Going Back in November !!!!”
We had a great time! I can't say engough good things about the staff and the hotel. No complaints other than it was not long engough!!!
“Great hotel for the money.”
This hotel was great overall but had some downfalls in certain areas. Our room had very little water pressure in the shower and the toilet was temperamental(had to make sure the lever was up or the next flush would create a unflushable mess). The room had a view of a soccer field instead of the ocean but a friendly bellhop made us laugh and reminded us that we would not spend much time in our room anyway. That prediction was true because Cancun has so much to offer. The food and view from the breakfast area was amazing and there were free drinks at the bar every night. Don't get me wrong, not a party hotel by far but also not a hotel that is stagnant. This is overall an excellent hotel for the cost and the food is great...just get out while you're there and see Cancun. Oh, rent a car...you'll be happier than folks waiting for the bus in front to go anywhere. Cancun hotel zone is a couple un walkable highway miles away.
“Nice hotel...”
Nice hotel in a seculded location. The staff was very courteous and the food was great. We would go back again.
“Can't wait to go back!”
The hotel was great to us. The room that we had was beautiful. The ocean front view from the bedroom and the balcony was to die for. The breakfast buffet was alright, the omelletes were the best. The restaurant that we had to make reservations for at both resorts was exceptionally wonderful. THe activities at the hotels were great for all ages. The sister resort is 21+ and that was a little crazy but the service at both were wonderful. If you would like to have a nice smooth Mexican shot, the one to have is a Mexican Flag, red white and green. The travel agents that were at the resort were great also. We did snorkling out of Aqua world which was great and we did a bar hopping trip, that was also great. Also you can exchange money at the front desk if you would like. I would definetly book this for next year.
“Wonderful experience”
My husband and I just returned from our stay at the Blue Bay and we could not be more pleased with our experience there. Having planned this trip as a surprise for my husband (and essentailly doing it on my own), it far exceeded my expectations. Our trip was only for a few days, but it was worth every second of it and we cannot wait until we can go back
“The hotel was great, but almost all the hotels are great in Cancun. Next time I'll go to another one”
The hotel is so good, employees, sevice, food, drinks, etc. PERFECT!... Activities all day long, they never stop working for you.
“Good choice when you know where you are going”
The hotel is located not in hotel zone, which was good choice for us. Not too big, quite, very sincere friendly staff. Relatively inexpensive. Yes, it is kind of old, no elevators and quite a few of stairs - so I had to carry our baby stroller, but I kept it downstairs for most of the time.
