A welcoming, family-spirited atmosphere helps distinguish this resort, which, despite its compact size still offers guests plenty of day-and-night activity and entertainment.
Daily, staff-led programs include activities for all, ranging from beach walks and stretching sessions to volleyball, bingo, and children's crafts. Guests can spend evenings listening to live music in the lobby or, three times a week, enjoying live performance shows with Mexican, Caribbean, and pre-Hispanic themes.
Five restaurants serve international, Mexican, Asian, and seafood specialties. The four bars include a beachside health bar with natural drinks and a swim-up bar.
A small business center provides two computers with high-speed Internet access (surcharge); front desk staff can help with faxes (surcharge). Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby (surcharge).

Guests are guaranteed water views because all 276 air-conditioned guestrooms at Oasis Viva Beach All Inclusive Hotel look out over the Caribbean Sea. Some rooms provide furnished balconies. Most rooms come with two double beds but king beds also may be available.
Brightly painted walls showcase wood headboards with rattan insets; other furnishings include a round table and two chairs. Floors are tile and almost all rooms have a bathtub/shower combination; a few have shower only. In-room safes are provided (surcharge).

To protect guests from passing boats, the hotel allows sea swimming only in a defined, shallow area in front of the resort where the water is calm. Nonmotorized sea sports include kayaking and sailing. The pool is another focus of activity, with staff members running a daily program that includes water aerobics, pool volleyball, and games.
Stationary bicycles, stair machines, and free weights are provided in the small fitness center opposite the health bar.
Staff members can help arrange area activities such as parasailing, fishing excursions, and boating.
