“Beautiful Cancun home away from home!!”
Absolutely gorgeous! Clean! Great architecture! Quiet and family friendly.
“Excellent Resort to stay while visiting Cancun”
Hotel is beautifully located between Airport and Downtown Cancun. Very quiet and friendly ambiance. Food was excellent at all their restaurants. Great to have Champs Sport bar on the premises...nice place to watch your favorite sports..and again very friendly atmosphere... Hotel staff was above a 10 in rating...quick to attend to any of your needs...very friendly..polite. Only drawback was that there was not a sport channel that we could watch in our room. ESPN channel was in Spanish..and covered local sport activities..The English version of ESPN only covered soccer... We are big sports fans..not that we would stay in room and watch..but would be nice to get an update later on in the evening..or early morning while we are having coffee. Other than that...definitely a five stars on all counts.
“Our Spring break vacation in March!!!!”
We visited the Casa Magna Hotel in March, and our visit was most pleasant. Our rooms were clean and keep very well by the staff during the entire week.We had an ocean view balcony which was on the beach. The view was breathetaking. The restaurant staff was very pleasant ,and very accomodating. The food in all of the restaurants were superb. At the conciege desk,we were given a coupon to recieve a free appetizer at one of the restaurants. At the conciege desk we also recieved good advice about any question that we had about Cancun. We also recieved the newspaper at this desk, that was complimentary. We almost bought a time share, but because of the recession,we were afaid to buy it.The pool and the jacuzzi were well kept. The exercise room was also very pleasant. If we visit Cancun again, this hotel would be our choice.I would recommend it highly,to anyone who asked. We also liked the mexican music that was played in the hotel in the evening. I would reccomend that you play mexican music in the day around the pool area,so you can get more of a mexican feel, instead of being americanized. Excellent Rating!!!!
“Hôtel que je recommande”
Hôtel que je conseille vivement . Très bien situé , pas très loin du centre de la zone hôtelière ni des petits commerces pour les petits achats quotidiens . Le jaccuzzi avec vue sur la mer est top ! La plage avec transat est nickel .
“Loved it! Can't wait to return...”
My husband and I stayed here for 5 days to celebrate his 60th birthday. It was our first trip to Mexico and to Cancun. The hotel setting -- right on the Caribbean -- was beautiful! Our room had a deluxe ocean view and private balcony. The room was very clean and nicely laid out. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel staff was approachable, friendly, and very helpful. The hotel, in general, was very well maintained...including the pool and surrounding pool area and bathrooms (which were spotless). We spent most of our time at the pool as the beach area -- although very clean and well maintained -- is Mexican federal property and not owned by the hotel. Consequently, we were often bothered by local peddlers selling conches and sunglasses, etc. Service at the pool (which is right on the beach) includes food and drink making it convenient and great for the price. There are several restaurants onsite. We found the Argentinian Steak house to be over-rated. Champions is a typical sports bar -- very loud -- with great food and service at a good price. The breakfast buffet was excellent and included in the price of the room. CasaMagna is convenient to surrounding restaurants, golf, and shopping. For a real experience, take the R2 bus intown to Walmart and stock up on things for the room. We will definitely stay here again when - not if - we return to Cancun.
“Loved It and will return!”
This hotel was amazing. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Great location on the beach. Execellent service in all restaurants. I will return.

“Marriott Casa Magna”
Great hotel with a grand lobby. Staff were attentive and accomodating. Lots of great restaurants on site.
“A real mess come good”
Great hotel and super location. This was an upgrade for us as we originally picked the Hyatt which was horrendous. We stayed only one night and demanded to move. Don't make the same mistake. Four stars yeh right. However expedia came good and made up for it by transfering us to the Marriot and discounted the price. Once again the Mrriot was excellent a real class hotel
