“i would highly recommend this beautiful resort”
we had a great time. the entertainment was great, the staff was very accommodating. i really enjoyed the shows. the kids had a wonderful time and all the shows were appropriate for them to attend.
“Une pose d'arrivée au Méxique par Cancun idéale.”
Parfait pour une étape à l'arrivée sur cancun. Avantage pour une famille avec 3 jeunes enfants (9-10 et 12ans): chambre allant jusqu'à 6 couchages.
“Great family vacation”
This was our 6th time to Cancun, the 2nd time that we choose to visit this resort. This was the 2nd week that we were here during "hurricane" season - I would estimate the resort was 25% occupied - It was as if it was our own place! Unfortunately, we did have 3 rainy days - If you are considering going during hurricane season, a rainy day or two is probable - I estimate out of our 40 days of vacation during hurricane season, we have had no more than 6 total rain days. The strengths of the resort would be the family "orientation." We have 8 & 9 1/2 year old boys and they loved the waterslide, the entertainment staff, the beach, pools and the karokie bar. Of the 5 resorts we have been to, this is by far the best family resort. Downsides..the resort is showing a little wear & tear. The adult only restaurant is much nicer than the others which poses a challenge if you have your children, regardless, the other restaurants are very good! If you are on a higher level, the elevators could be a pain in the rear. Expedia has this resort listed at 3 1/2 stars and there are nicer places that you could go to and more $$ that you can spend on your vacation, but we have found the Great Parnassus to be a great combination of quality & value and we look forward to returning next year!
“Terrific hotel and vacation. I wish we could have stayed forever.”
All of the staff that work at the Great Parnassus were very friendly and very helpful. It was truly a trip of a lifetime. I am glad we chose thi hotel, and we want to return again soon.
“Great find”
Me and my wife were pleasantly surprised at how great this resort is. This was our first time doing all-inclusive and it was nice not having to worry about extra money for food and drinks. I did feel that some of the restaurants were mediocre at best, but there were a few that were actually good. There room was huge and clean. Room service was excellent. I do recommend doing extra stuff not included like snorkling and visiting one of the Mayan sites.
“Great place to stay in Cancun”
We had a great time! The hotel is very centrally located, and so we were able to walk to ruins, beautiful beaches and shopping. The beach is beautiful, lots of great shells, we found a conch shell on the beach in front of the hotel. The staff is very friendly and accomidating. And the pool area is great, my son had a blast swimming all week. Overall , it was a great experience!
“A wonderful experience”
Overall my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I like the fact that the hotel caters for families as well as adults only. The food was fantastic at all restaurants and there were fun activities throughout the day. The service provided by the staff was excellent. We're looking forward to returning soon!
“Great for Families”
This hotel was tailor-made for a family getaway experience. Convienant in terms of room service, buffet style food and a great aquatic park facility. Easy access to the beach with lounge seats always available at the pool. A great mix of easy access food with no wait. Huge room with lots of space. We had a great trip and would recommend it to anyone with children!
“Had a fabulous time!”
I have been to several all inclusives and this one was nice. There were 17 of us ranging from 62-11 mo. We had a great time. The family rooms were nice and the we had no issues with air conditioning. My brother in law broke his heel bone and the medical staff at the hotel were kind and caring. They took care of him. yes the beach was rocky, but you could walk down a few steps and it was fine. I weighed the options of finding a different hotel because of the rocky beach, but am glad I didn't. The kids loved the kids club and waterpark area and that is where they spent most of the time. Super happy! Don't hesitate!
“Excellent !”
The hotel has plenty of food selections with the option of room service. The room was very clean and the jacuzzi on the balcony is a added bonus. Our jacuzzi jets did not work so we called the front desk and someone came to our room within 15min to correct the problem. The adult pool is relaxing. The beach is a nice spot to relax without swimming due to high tides. The only negative is the cost to travel to and from the airport,$14 dollars per person or you can take a taxi for a little more.
