“Loved the staff!”

Me, my sister and a friend of mine stayed here, and had an amazing week! The employees of the hotel are were so nice and helpful!! The bartenders were the best. Of course we took advantage of using the next door facilities (ie. the pool, and restaurants), which also had wonderful service. The pool was fun, and they had games going all day. The entertainment staff at the Royal Solaris would bring you to a different club each night and party with you. The City and The Basic were by far the best clubs! This hotel is pretty quiet and more geared to older couples and families (Royal Solaris was a little louder and had more people), so it wasn't crazy and wild for us spring breakers as we thought it would be. The food was alright - nothing special - other than the lobster dinner. That was AMAZING! We were sad to leave, that's for sure. All in all, it was a wonderful stay :)

“Would definitely go back”

My fiance and I stayed here March 12th-18th,2011 and I must say that i was pleasantly surprised. I did not know what to expect upon our arrival as the hotel had only re-opened in Feb 2011, but it was great. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We had reserved one of their basic rooms and I thought it was very nice, huge king sized bed, seperate sitting area and huge shower. The restaurants were good, spent a lot of lunches and dinners at Bogavante, beautiful views right on the beach. We used the facilities next door at the Royal Solaris, mainly their buffet restaurant, but we stayed clear of the pool there due to the fact we were there for a relaxing quiet holiday and the pool at the Royal Solaris was for lack of better words "WooHoo Spring Break 2011". The only negative thing i can say about this hotel is that as a vegetarian I found it hard to find options for food, but what i did have was extremely tasty :) I would recommend this hotel to others and i would return there myself.

“Its ALL good”

Excellent hotel with the most remarkable service. I have never seen so many smiles, the staff go out of their way to make sure you are having a good time. Especially the waiters on the beach, it can't be easy carrying a tray full of Tequila Sunrise without spilling a drop and a constant smile on their faces. Loved the food, our room, everything.

“Friendly staff”

Staff is very friendly. Food is good although the Marco Polo resterant gives really small portions so order extra. Floor in rooms is a little slippery and some rooms have a really musty smell.

“Cancun vacation at the GRCaribe”

This hotel is small compared to the others in the hotel zone, therefore no crowds. If you are located on the 1st floor however, you will hear the people in the lobby/bar area and the trumpet player during the evening. This hotel includes 2 breakfast areas, one of which faces the pool and ocean. There are also 2 restaurants, one of which is called the Bogavente which is located on a deck facing the ocean. The menu changes every day and the food is excellent. You have access to the restaurants located in the Solaris hotel located next to the GR Caribe. The beach is beautiful with enough lounge chairs for everyone. This was my first trip to Cancun in an all- inclusive hotel and I really enjoyed it!

“A great stay”

Loved the hotel!!!!!!!!!!!! The service was excellent!!!!!!!! The food was excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had the best experience at Veneto..the other restaurant was good for lunch and dinner but the overall experience at Veneto was far superior!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! although we had access to the other hotel we didn't eat there.....loved the breakfast and fresh made omelets...we didn't eat much at the poolside snack bar...We didn't want for food or drink during our stay... The sea was beautiful...mind you this part of the sea was rough during our stay...not a problem for us but others couldn't swim for whatever reason. Everything was better than I could have asked for! I hope to go again in the next year or two! Thanks GR Caribe

“Nice place”

Very clean, the staff is great and the food is good. I stayed 2 night there and I would return anytime.

It was a total 5 star experience. The service was amazing and friendly as well. Made me feel at home. I dont think any hotel could be better than this. It is highly recommended.

“One Night”

I only stayed at the hotel for one night but I had lots of fun. The people are great, the food is great and I loved having the beach right outside my hotel. I would stay in this hotel again.
