“Celuisma Imperial Laguna”
This was a really good hotel if you looking for a cheaper but decent hotel. It is about a 15 minute walk from the strip which may or may not be to you liking but the walk was more than worth it compared to the amount of money saved by staying in the hotel. The hotel provides beautiful views of the Lagoon (if you are on that side) and had a nice and affordable restaurant. I was overall pleased with this hotel because it was affordable and close to all the main attractions (closer than any downtown hotel you may book). My only complaint was that it there were very tiny bugs on all the counters. We didn't notice them till our third or fourth day and since we didn't leave anything out on the counters(left stuff in suitcase) this did not bother me that much but if you are afraid of such things (or intend to eat in your room) you might not like this.
“Content:)”
The Imperial Laguna is amazing for someone on a budget! My girl friend and I went to enjoy the sun and the nightlife Cancun had to offer. The hotel is the type where it's a place to sleep at night. We didn't spend too much in the room; we were either down at the beach (which is about a 10 minute walk) or by the pool, which is quaint. The staff was EXTREMELY nice. The front desk staff knew exactly where we wanted to go and gave helpful advice. Although the hotel was outdated, the rooms were clean and we always had hot water. The maids didn't speak much English, but could understand us when we needed clean towels or other toiletries. The nightlife is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, but the bus stops not too far from the hotel. We usually walked down and back. Overall, it was extremely clean! I recommend it more for those college/HS students who just need a place to crash.
“Incredible”
I was recently at Imperial Laguna. I was amazed with the personalized service that the hotel provides. It´s a cozzy place with a spectacular view to a Lagoon.
“A Great Choice for Spring Break”
I was part of a group of 12 that decided to stay here during Spring Break 2007. We had lots of fun and the hotel was great. It was on a quiet residential street a short walk from the bus stop which could take you into town for the Beach and for Boozing at the Amazing Clubs, and walking is definately not unreasonable. Its on the lagoon and has a nice view, the pools nice, and at night theres a dock we partied at. We were surprised to see a whole bunch of Old people staying at the hotel, and really only one other group of college students. I suggest a bottom floor room with an extra entrance to the room because they only issue one key to the room. The desk guy was nice, the beaches are perfect, Definately would stay at the Imperial Laguna again, since its soo much fun, rooms are big, they have fridges and stoves, and its very close to everything. Plus on the way to downtown from the hotel there is a few cheap and delicious taco places and a grocery store. Cant wait to go back, cancun is definately THE spring break place, we went to nassau last year and although we had fun, as a spring break place the clubs are closer and huger, and the beaches are amazingly blue and white sands and there's even waves. Anyway we wanted to do a different place every year, but we cant see any place being better than cancun for spring break, plus the second time around we wouldnt waste any time getting to know our surroundings
“nice little hotel, nice pool”
this is a great little hotel located on a quite street but its only 10 minutes walking distance to all the clubs, if that's what you like. there is also a supermarket less then 5 mins and places to eat. Also a bus stop is right there.
“Can't wait to go back”
This was a quiet hotel on the lagoon. The room was on the ground floor, with a small patio, overlooking a lovely courtyard and the swimming pool. We had a great stay here and we're looking forward to our next stay here.
“Wow close to it all”
Wow close to it all and man did i have fun. I stayed at this hotel and it was just a minute from every thing you could need while staying in Cancun. the hotel was great even though it was getting ready for spring breakers the staff and the resturant were great. I would suggest you to go to the shops but by all means go to Senor Frogs!!!!!
“Au centre touristique de Cancun à prix interessants”
petit hotel avec avantage d'avoir sa chambre à 3m de la piscine et transat, voire sur la piscine. Loin de l'esprit des grands complexes hoteliers. Seul inconvénient: l'hotel donne sur la lagune et non sur la plage.
“Be back there soon”
Hotel staff was excellent, pool was always clean, room was quite, must excecise some patience with the bathroom. My third floor room faced the lagoon, with a beautiful view of the hotels that rimmed it, especially at night. Good location, supermarket two blocks away, so was breadfast, and bus stop into Coco bongo, ten minutes ride, not even. If you don't want to eat in the party area(Coco Bongo), use the hotel resturant, not bad. Every thing met my buget perfectly, had a great time in Cancun.
“Nice small place”
This hotel is very small compared to the hotels in the area. It has not ocean view and is located by the lagoon which sometimes is very smelly. The people there are very friendly and the maid is spectacular she will even do the dishes for you. It is very close to the bus stop and you can walk at night without any fear, it is a safe place.
