“Vacation and birthday celebration couldn't have been better”
Great vacation. Just spent a week here with another couple and their child and had a great time. Staff is excellent, food was good and the memories will last forever. Cesar at the pool bar and our waitress Claudia at the pool were the best! Can't wait to return
“Already planning our next vacation!”
I will be back to write a better description when I have more time but I found the reviews to be so helpful when booking our vacation that I wanted to put something out there. Cancun Palace is the place to stay. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful (One exception. I lost a fleece jacket the second night and went to lost and found every night, spoke to the same women and she kept telling me it was not turned in. The day of checkout, I spoke to a gentleman who searched for over five minutes on the computer and then went to the lost and found room to physically search for it. He found it with 5 minutes to spare before the shuttle got there to take us to the airport) Get an ocean view. The sunsets are amazing and you can see what is going down by the pool and beach before heading out. The swim-up bars were fantastic. We really only stayed by one of them since it had the most sun. The bartenders were great. You have to try a miami vice. 1/2 strawberry daiquiri and 1/2 pina colada.
“Cancun Palace”
We loved the Cancun Palace! We stayed there for our honeymoon and it was our first trip to Cancun. Everything was wonderful! Great restaurants, the pool was beautiful and the staff was friendly. It was better than we thought it would be!
“had a great time”
the people at the hotel where great and the service was to. food was good and my cup never got empty, we will be going back ago this is our second trip to cancun the first time we stayed at the moon place and it was great but we love to set on the beach so the cancun place was the perfect answer.
“Great Hotel”
Hotel, food, and beach were great. Oceanview room was amazing! You could see the pool area as well as the beach from our balcony which was a little larger than the photos on the web. Food was very good. We especially enjoyed the snack food sitting out by the pool. It was nice to eat lunch at your convenience by the pool or at your lounge chair. Although we did not take advantage of the other Palace resorts (trip too short),we will the next time we are in Cancun. We will definitely go back to Cancun Palace.
“Great resort”
Great vacation, fabulous service and food. I have read several reviews stating that the food was ok, don't know what they are talking about and i am a restaurant owner! Kudos, can't wait to go back.
“Take the good with the bad”
Recently traveled to Cancun and stayed at the Cancun Palace. My family and I based this decision on our stay at one of the other palace resorts for our honeymoon. We brought the kids this time so it was perfect blend for the kids and adults. The room was great but we had a view of the lagoon that also came with a view of the trash piles on the side of the building. Basically you need horse shields to look straight ahead and not down. I suggest you insist on a beach view or reduced rate. The beach had a lot of seed weed, they really needed staff round the clock cleaning it up. The water was a bit rough as well. It's perfect for people who love high waves. I prefer calm water. The food was good and the service was great. The kids club was really nice! My kids had fun! The best advice I have is to be weary of the sales pitch when you arrive. They offer you 1500 credit you can only use on certain things. They really try to get you to buy membership. We had to tell them in more than one way over a 3 hour period that we weren't interested. We did get a wonderful massage with the credit but the rest went to waste. You can only use it in one of the three jewelry stores and that's only 300 from the 1500 credit and everything in the store is over 400.. hope this was helpful.
“Had a great time.”
Cancun Palace is a great place with a lot to offer most guests. Plenty of good food and drink, facilities were great, and the staff was wonderful. The beach was very nice as well with white sand and crystal clear water. My only two pieces of criticisms is that I while I thought the rooms were very spacious and well decorated, I found the bed to be a little too firm for my liking. It's a personal thing I know, but something I need to get used to. Also, I found that I couldn't guarantee which room I was going to get by booking through Expedia. I wanted a room facing the Ocean and not one facing the bay. This was my second time at the resort (booked both times through Expedia) and the second time I was facing the bay. I hope to find a way to fix that as the ocean views were great and the bay views much less breath-taking and I found that I didn't take advantage of the wonderful patio that each room has as a result (because the view was poor). Outside of that, I would highly recommend this resort, the staff is wonderful.
“It's a repeatable one”
All the Cancun Palace hotels are really good choice going to Cancun
“This is the place you want to be....”
Wonderful Staff all around! Loved the pool area, the best in all the hotels we've stayed at! The beach bar with the swings was a real treat. The lobby bar at night was always happening. The bartenders remembered our names from the minute we told them and our drink of choice, very personal service! Ask for Edgar and tell him Kevin and Michelle from Texas sent you...fist bump! The food was really good too...restaurant reviews...Japanese awesome all around! Italian - Filet Migeon, I could cut it with a butter knife...make sure to get the cheesecake too! Breakfast Buffet - yummy...yummy omelette's made to order! Pizza by the pool a must! Room service another must we ordered something everyday...a little appetizer while we were relaxing before we went down to dinner! The jacuzzi hot tub in the room...a great way to relax with coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. Can you tell we really enjoyed our entire stay? I would go back in a minute and recommend this hotel to anyone. Another thing to enjoy is at Beach Palace the rooftop has a great pool with an awesome view...a must if you have the time! Cheers to a great trip!
