“Great Hotel, Great Price!”
Great hotel for a Great price. When I requested it, they upgraded our room to balcony with ocean view, amazing. The food was very good with a lot of variety with additional restaurants on site. They had free entertainment each night. Great location and very friendly staff, I would definitely stay here again!
“Great Value!”
We loved the Bellevue. My husband and I went Feb 7-14, 2012 for our honeymoon and had a very fun and relaxing time. It was their slow season so we got an excellent deal. The building was older but still comfortable. The food was great, we both ended up eating way too much. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was smaller but view was beautiful.. the person I talked to at Expedia put in a request for us to have a larger bed with and ocean view and I didn't really think we would get it, but we did.. there were 2 windows in our room; One by the bed and one in the bathroom, which I loved because we were high enough up that I could leave the curtains open and watch the ocean as I showered- very relaxing. The AC was great. I was a little nervous leaving valuables in our room without using the safe, but we didn't have problems the whole week and they cleaned our room everyday. We were comfortable without a coffee maker or fridge because the buffet restaurant had everything you needed. The only slight complaints: there was no clock in our room, and only one of the elevators was working, which was only a problem once.. otherwise there wasn't much of a wait. We did hear running water from another room above us but most people don't shower at night so it never bothered our sleep. The gym wasn't open when we went, but there were lots of people running on the beach. We suggest for everyone - couples & partiers alike. We will return with more people :)
“exceptional”
good and clean hotel, right on the beach with rooms having ocean and lagoon view. exceptional staff. I will always recommend to everyone. Everything was outstanding
“Great all-inclusive for the price”
The Bellevue Beach Paradise Hotel All-Inclusive is a great pick for any budget conscious traveler. It is located at the less-busy end of the Blvd Kukulcan so you have to take a 5 - 10 minute bus ride to get to the clubs, restaurants, etc. But the beach in front of the hotel is great for swimming, sunbathing, or taking long walks in the surf. The hotel itself is not the most luxurious, but it suited our needs just fine. There were no pushy timeshare pitches like most of the other hotels on the Zona Hotelera, which was nice. The drinks at the bars were strong and the bartenders treated you well regardless of if you tipped them or not. The shows each night were entertaining and engaging and silly. The food in the buffet restaurant is general buffet fare, nothing more or less. The two sit-down restaurants on the property were ok, but we mainly stuck to the buffet because it was all pretty much the same food. Every day, if we needed a little guidance as to how to get somewhere or if we needed a tour booked, the concierge service was more than helpful and gave us great insider tips and advice. Overall we were pleased with our 6 night stay at Bellevue. Just remember, this is one of the more inexpensive all-inclusives in the Hotel Zone, so you get what you pay for. It is not luxury, but its not crappy either, its a middle of the road, fun hotel with a really friendly and engaged staff.
“Great for the price!”
I stayed at this hotel for 3 days the first of October, during the off season. It was great. Service, food, everything was great. Awesome beach, nice, soft sand, beautiful views of the sunrise!
“Great for the price and just in general”
Just went last week for 4 days... had a great time .. great place.. food was alittle eh but nothing you couldn't stomach! great open area with lots to do and lots of people who were fun
“Well worth the money!!!! Had a BLAST!!”
We had a great time at the Hotetur. Yes....it is a smaller resort and older but it was well worth the money we paid and more. The view was amazing. Pool area is smaller than most of the larger resorts but big enough for the amount of people staying at the resort. Activities do go on around the pool, we only did the bingo and it was fun. Went to a few of the night shows....the gambling night was the best, had a blast and nice way to meet different people....the show that a mexican group comes in and performs was good....karoake is just people staying at the resort trying to sing, ok. Food was good to great, buffet had enough.....outdoor food was typical poolside food, good.....Italian restaurant was great (ate there 3 times) always try the nightly special is was wonderful and my daughter enjoyed the Bolongase.....the fancy restaurant was really good (oceanviews) but can only eat there once. (weird) I had requested an oceanfront room (paid for standard) and it was amazing, furnishings nothing fancy but fine. Pillow seem very lumpy but ended up being very nice to sleep on especially knowing they wash and change the pillows daily. Bus stop right outside the resort to the left and drop off right across the street...perfect. Staff very helpful, even squeezed us in on our last night to eat at the fancy restaurant. I got up every morning put towels on loungers on the beach (brought 2 from home) and a guy will put up an umbrella for you. We had a wonderful time and plan to go back!!
“Great Experience”
We choose this Hotel as we wanted to keep the cost of our vacation down, well we ended up being very impressed about the service and everything in the Hotel, food was good, drinks were fine, and customer service was really great. We stayed in the Cancun Palace before and this is not that luxurious but we felt great on it as well, if not expensive and you get more than what you pay for. Great value, highly recommended!!
“Definitely would go back”
This was not a five star hotel, so if you like that kind of hotel, you won't like this one. But it was perfect for what we needed and wanted. The service (people) could not have been more friendly or helpful. The hotel is an older building, but very clean. Like others that had stayed said, only one elevator was working, but didn't bother us at all, and we were on the 9th floor. We were in 2 different types of rooms while there, Jr. Suite and Supreme room. The Jr Suite was OK, had 3 rooms, but seemed a little darker. Lots of storage tho, and all windows opened. But the supreme room, with balcony was great. It was on the Ocean side and that made a big difference. Couple odd things in the room, no clock, pillows very small and lumpy, lighting dull. We had absolutely no problem with the food in any of the restaurants. We ate at the buffet room most of the time, and always found great choices. . The nightly entertainment was questionable. Loved the people . The pool still looks in need of painting, but we didn't use it anyway, we were in the ocean all the time. Beach is wonderful. Drinks were good, food good, service good, location good. We liked being south end of hotel zone, not quite as crazy busy as the north end, and has better views west and east. Bus system was fabulous. We were looking for a good budget stay, but clean. And got it. Had all we needed. We would definitely stay here again if going back to Cancun.
“Can't wait to return!!”
This hotel was the BEST! The food was excellent and there was always a variety of choices, so even the pickiest of eaters could find something they liked. The waitstaff was friendly and personable. The bartenders were attentive and made delicious drinks. The nightly entertainment was also great! The rooms were spacious and very clean and the hotel itself was in perfect condition. I can't wait to go back!
