"Nice contemporary hotel."
Found the staff to be extremely courteous and helpful. Public areas were bright and airy and the terrace had a great view of the Docklands area & the O2. The food in the restaurant was of a high quality and very well cooked in the French style.

"Excellent docklands hotel."
Superb return visit. This hotel has excellent rooms with great walk-in shower and spacious super-king bed. It is committed to being "green" and uses incentives to support this. The staff are friendly, efficient and put themselves out to ensure you get the most out of your stay. Highly recommended, 4* hotel.

"Great hotel close to 02"
Great hotel, can't fault it at all. Next door to DLR so very easy to get around london . Room was on first floor so overlooking the station but it didn't matter to us at all and we heard no noise. Loved the area lots of bars and places to eat and visited the docklands museum which was very interesting and is free to get into .

"Superb hotel if you can find it."
Only a few minutes walk from Blackwall Light Rail Station but not signposted. The hotel is situated in the middle of some new mega riversides developments.Don't get off the train at Canary Wharf and try to walk unless you know the way.I did and got lost. The problem is getting across the various stretches of water which comprise the old docks. The hotel told me that Canary wharf with it's many bars and restaurants is only 15 minutes walk away. I am sure this is right but the need the directions first. Hotel itself is superb.Situated right on the river with panoramic views.Lobby has the wow factor.Reception staff were some of the most helpful I have ever met.All spotlessly clean and well maintained.Great food.Spa is bit of a trip in its own right.Sauna but shame no pool.Great relaxation room with hot tiled beds to lie on afterwards overlooking the river. Pretty easy to great to get into Central London.12 minutes on Docklands Light Rail will get to Bank Station then change onto Central Line

"Fantastic Stay"
My stay was for business while I was working at Canary Wharf. The location was a 2 minute walk from the DLR station and I was in Canary Wharf in 15 minutes. The hotel was in an ideal location, easy to get where I wanted , but away from the hustle and bustle. All the staff that served me were friendly, professional and helpful. My room was extremely clean, had everything I needed and the bed was extremely comfortable.A bonus for me was that the room had air conditioning as I generally find that hotel rooms are too warm for me, but this was a perfect addition to the room.Alternatively, when the outside temperature had cooled I did open the window instead. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choice and everything was fresh and tasty, again the staff were really friendly and attentive.Sadly I didn`t remember that there was a pool and gym at the hotel, so I can`t comment as I didn`t use them.

"Five nights in a nice hotel."
I booked basic room, only, and that at a special offer rate. At the Ramada Hotel many of the more expensive rooms have views over the developed docklands area. This room, 309, looked onto adjacent buildings. The room was excellent, as good as any four star I have stayed. The basic rooms do not have a room safe. Reception will lock up any valuables if you wish. The hotel is on the Dockyard Light Railway. (DLR) at Prince Regent Station. Two changes to Leicester Square less than thirty minutes away. (Prince Regent, to Canning Town (which is on underground,) change to Jubilee line. At Waterloo take Northern Line to Leicester Square.) The 02 Dome is very close to the Ramada. The most enjoyable way of reaching there is via two DLR stops to Royal Victoria and then take the cable car over the water for spectacular views of the 02 building, the Thames and surrounding areas. The 02 underground station is North Greenwich (on Jubilee Line) where, if you wish, you can continue into the West End

"Fab hotel"
1st and definitely not last stay in a Novotel. Modern, clean, good food and fab location. Minor niggle was that there was no hand wash basin in the toilet only one in the bathroom. Some train noise due to very close proximity to the train station, but for me being that close to the station after a hard day sight seeing is a blessing! Wasn't loud enough to interrupt our sleep. Great base for exploring Greenwich and so easy to reach popular tourist attractions in a matter of minutes.

Canary Wharf - Docklands Hotels Guide

London’s 21st-century waterside business district, Canary Wharf is best known for its cutting-edge architecture, including the 50-storey obelisk-shaped skyscraper, One Canada Square. Get there by the Docklands Light Railway, with elevated tracks giving wonderful views into a world of glass and steel. By contrast, historic Greenwich, home to the National Maritime Museum, is just across the Thames. A foot tunnel links the two.
