“Very friendly staff and professional operation”

Excactly what I needed for a one night stay. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel, comfortable room and good breakfast. Expedia has the wrong post code for this hotel, and I spent a half hour in the back streets of Cambridge.............

“Nice room!”

Very nice room, high class decor, most comfortable bed I have ever found in a hotel. Air con was a bit noisy.

“Ultra-comfortable room with a surprise”

Courteous and competent staff, albeit overwhelmed during the day due to high volumes of customers for just 1 guy manning the desk. The room itself was very comfortable and clean with a beautiful view of the park opposite, but strangely enough there was somebody else's underwear and towels stuffed between the A/C unit and the wall, which I guess the housekeepers did not see because they were hidden away so clandestinely. But that was the only aspect of the room that really gave us the creeps.

“overall good experience”

Excellent breakfast, and terrific service from staff. Had difficulty for 2 days trying to get hot water for shower; finally resolved. Also, had a single bed - somewhat surprising Hotel is next to large park, and a few minutes walk from downtown - shops and restaurants; also several grocery stores nearby. I would recommend

“Convenient to downtown”

This is a nice hotel in the midst of a renovation. My room had just been updated so everything was new. The location is very good on Parker's Piece with easy access to the university colleges and shopping/restaurants. The train station is a 15 minute walk and the NationalExpress coaches from the airports drop off on the far side of Parker's Piece.

The only prob elm was that the telephone messaging system did not work, causing me to miss some connections.
