One of the most charasmatic hotels on Mallorca, a timeless design by prestigious contemporary architect José Maria Coderch, 1964, and completely renovated in 2008. Hotel grounds include garden and swimming pool w/ bar & lounge serving drinks and snacks all day. Indoor pool, private beach and tennis courts with artificial turf, light. Outdoor hydromassage. YHI relaxation spa offering beauty treatments, dynamic pool, hydromassage, sauna, Turkish baths, special showers, wet and dry relaxation areas, fitness centre. Two restaurants serve 5 different cuisines (description below), barbecue grill also available. Business center with 8 meeting halls with natural light, audiovisual equipment, WIFI, capacity 220 persons. Airport shuttle (surcharge), valet on-site parking (surcharge).

Air-conditioned guestrooms at Melia de Mar include a balcony with panoramic view of the sea and hotel garden. For your rest, DREAMMAX designer beds and selection of pillows with different aromas. For refreshment coffee/tea makers, minibars and complementary bottled water and welcome amenities. High-definition English TV w/ satellite channels, and high-speed Internet access (gratis). Complementary newspapers, in-room safes. Bathrooms include separate bathtubs and showers, bathrobes, slippers, and makeup/shaving mirrors. On request, we provide extra towels/bedding and wake-up calls. Housekeeping provided.

Buffet restaurant "O Grille" at the pool serves lunch. "Q4 Cuatre" restaurant offers four different culinary experiences in a single restaurant: Q Lounge, sushi bar, tepanyaki, and menu of international cuisine. Bar and "Gabi Lounge" near the pool, offering snacks and drinks at poolside throughout the day.

“Refined hotel with excellent service”
We were treated to complimentary drinks and healthy snacks upon arrival, which set the tone nicely. Every staff person at Melia was friendly and helpful, the room was fantastic for the value, and the grounds really couldn't be beat for the area - uber clean, modern, while keeping the natural rocks and tree-filled surroundings. My husband and I were getting married on the island, and were able to visit many guests' hotels in the area - we were very happy with our choice. We were looking for a refined, yet relaxed hotel - and found it!
“Impressed with Service”
We went for our honeymoon and we really enjoyed the hotel. They had everything we wanted from entertainment to spa services. We were happy with the free wifi in the room, house keeping services twice a day, 24 hr fitness center, modernized feel to the hotel, an amazing view from the balcony, any differences in hotel bookings were handled with care, depending on your finances it might be worth getting the upgrades in package which includes breakfast buffet (pretty good), spa services, happy hour buffet (not bad), and a one day rental of beds in the garden. They can exchange money, plan boat excursions, snorkeling, para-sailing, and we were provided with a doctor when we needed it. Its also great that most of them speak English at the hotel. They also have supermarkets near by to purchase snacks and drinks and there are beaches about 10-15 minutes away in walking distance. Some of the cons about the hotel is that the bathroom does smell a little bit, poor water pressure in the bathroom, not too many restaurants in walking distance, and some of the food without the upgraded package can be expensive. Just for information you should go sometime in July and contacting them before April is worthless because they are not open before the first of April. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and they surpassed our expectations.
“fantastic modern hotel”
a fantastic hotel in a lovely town on the beach, brilliant staff but extortiate prices for food and drink at hotel! that is the only downside. we walked down the road to eat and drink (even portals nous marina was cheaper with better quaility) or got bus into palma (20 mins). however this is one of the best hotel rooms i have ever stayed in.

Quality hotel recently refubished in a modern style. Very helpful and obliging staff. Relaxing gardens and pool.

Its a lovely hotel. Very well presented. Spacious room. Great views and privacy. Lovely gardens too. First hotel I've been too which has a B&O telly in it! The room/bed was v comfortable and the balcony and furniture in it were great too.

un très bon accueil un cadre très agrèable. un petit déjeuner très copieux de bonne qualité dans un environnement propice à la détente.
“Perfect spot for relaxation”
The Melia de Mar was perfect for check in to check out. No issues at all at the resort - staff were friendly and helpful, the resort both inside and outside were clean and well-kept. The location outside the city was perfect for us to stroll the countryside but near enough to explore the city. Lots of little cafes nearby as well as the golf course just a couple minute drive away. Pool was a bit chilly but the sea was gorgeous. Would definitely stay here again.
“Somewhere we would definitely return to with pleasure”
The staff at the hotel were all welcoming and helpful without exception, to a degree I have rarely experienced, and spoke very good English. They appeared to approach their work with real commitment and enthusiasm, which was a pleasure to experience. The hotel is beautifully designed and maintained and the pool , gardens and small beach are excellent. The food was very good, with a superb choice at breakfast and a fine buffet at lunch time. The hotel is near the motor way and access to Palma, the airport and all other attractions is very easy. We had a very enjoyable stay, and this is a hotel I would certainly be very pleased to return to. Highly recommended.
“Great Hotel and Location”
Perfect Hotel for a short break or longer stay. Rooms, facilities, service and food all first class. Staff very helpful and friendly. Proximity to Airport and City of Palma a bonus due to short transfer time and ease of visiting Palma either by bus or taxi. We only stayed for 3 nights over a weekend but came back relaxed and refreshed. Will probably go back for another long weekend later in the year.

Great Hotel. Rooms of a very high quality, all staff were very friendly and helpful in all respects. There is not a lot to do in the immediate area, but if you are looking for a great place to pamper, unwind and get away from it all this is fantastic. Hotel private Beach is really non existent (enough for about 7 beds), but 12 Euro taxi to Palma Nova gives you some nice Beach Walks.
