“as described”
We booked based on others' reviews. We found it as described. The hotel was within a 10 minute walk from the train station. We made sure there was an elevator. The room was clean and we heard no sounds from others. The bathroom was in very good condition. The staff was helpful. Free Wi-Fi was appreciated.
“Review”
We enjoyed our short stay here. The hotel staff were especially helpful, rooms very nicely decorated and equipped, if a little on the small side. There is (limited) free parking on site, which is unusual these days for city centre locations. If you need to leave early, breakfast is available from about 4:00am! Handy if catching an early ferry.
“Great hotel for the price”
We stayed here while driving through Caen, and it was a great place to spend the night for the price we paid! The location was great, walking distance to all the sites and just around the corner from the train station. The only things that bothered us a bit were the size of the bathroom (tiny! but not unusual for Europe I suppose...) and the musty smell that probably came from being in an attic room. Overall we had a pleasant stay. The staff were really friendly as well!
“Great little hotel, shame about the area”
Loved the hotal, staff very friendly. Neighbourhood not too great but only 5 minutes from railway and bus stations and trams run past the door. Consequently it was busy and noisy even with wndows closed but earpugs are great. Very clean, no-one seemed to mind us bringing all sorts of cooked food into rooms, just like being at home! Would definitely go back
