“Campanile Mondeville”

Typical Campanille. Basic but very good value for money and always clean and a good standard. Mondeville was no exception. Very friendly staff as well.

“Definately recommended !!!”

We were driving on our vacation and we got to Caen later than we had hoped. We also had not realized that the desk was to close at 11pm. The attendant waited for over an hour, not even knowing if we'd show up for sure. That was service I did not expect and was very thankful. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable, and access to major routes is very simple. I'd choose it again if I visited again.

“just the job”

Having spent a long day travelling, it was a good place to stay for the night and unwind. Having a restaurant on the premises, it meant we did not have to go searching for somewhere to eat.

“déçu au niveau sonore mais les gérants très agréables”

Cet hôtel, bien placé prés de Caen, serait plus apprécié si quelques travaux d'isolation étaient effectués. La literie est en excellent état, sans doute neuve. La bouilloire avec les sachets de thé, café ou tisane et quelques petits gateaux sont les bienvenus. Le sèche cheveux dans la salle de bain est très pratique.

“Not impressed”

Tried to organise a late check in but too much trouble day before, told to ring back when we knew what time we'd arrive (like the ferry was going to suddenly gain wings). This cost additional for mobile phone. Room was basic, Wi Fi worked OK and staff where pleasent upon arrival.
