MacLeod Trail is a major thoroughfare extending from downtown to Calgary’s south side. It is named after Col. James MacLeod, one of the Calgary’s founders. The road passes by Calgary’s City Hall, Olympic Plaza, the Calgary Public Library, and the EPCOR Centre for the Performing Arts. Heritage Park, southwest of downtown Calgary, is Canada’s largest living historical village.
