“Awesome service”
I always read these reviews before i book on here. So, here it goes. The upon arrival, check in was quick and efficient. Staff exteremly polite. The girl at the front desk even helped carry our baby stroller up to the second floor! With a smile too. I will add thatshe offered which further floored me. Courtesous staff. We forgot a tooth brush. No problem because they had those as well. Its also conviently located near a bunch of staurants like the keg, cactus club and kinjo sushi. Etc etc. the mall is walking distance away or about 2 kilometers . I highly recommend this hotel. It may not have all the bells and whistles, but the service and the price is amazing and unbeatable.
“Very Impressed”
we went for a tour of alberta and weren't looking for anything special to stay in but we were impressed with this travelodge, we stayed in what looks like a nicer place in edmonton and there was terrible service, but at the travelodge the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.
“Exceptional service, clean rooms, quiet...”
Exceptional staff from the housekeepers to the manager. Room very clean, nice pillows, yes. Bed ok. Very quiet. Great location. Pool very warm and nice. Breakfast very unfortunately is standard mediocre fare. Nice guests.
“Good price and clean!”
Pleasantly surprised. Clean and comfortable, not fancy but for being a bit of a clean freak I would have no hesitation staying here again.
“My good choice”
The door lock on the outside not work very well.
“Not flash but good option for a quick stay”
I stayed in an updated room that still smelled of fresh paint but the update was tasteful, the facilities were clean and the bed was comfortable. Convenient to food outlets and right across from the Chinook Centre. I wouldn't recommend it for a holiday but for a one or two night visit for business or travel purposes I thought it was great.
“A followup Review”
I wanted to add to my original post that don't expect a 5 star here. Its an older hotel. The floor squeaked in my room and the heat must have been set elsewhere because it could be stifling at times. This is a great location at a great price and a place to sleep only. The rooms were spotless. We stayed here to save money. The continental breakfast was a bonus and miles away from beiing decent. Having said that, it was something to eat. They had milk, cereal, dried french toast and some kind of pre packages pancake. Stick to the cereals and you'll be good.
“Good price and location.”
Good value for the money. Clean rooms, but nothing fancy. Close to restaurants, Chinook Shopping Mall, and the Stampede grounds (which has the Saddledome).
“convenient, satisfactory, pleasant, coming back!!!”
It was close to my clinic, close to Cactus Club and many more. Friendly staff, like it.
“Would stay again”
Conveniently located close to a plethora or restaurants. Needs a bit of updating and a change of carpets, but the beds are clean and comfy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would ask to stay on the top floor next time as the floors aren't insulated well and the plumbing above will echo down to the room below when in use due to the buildings age. Overall a good value for an overnight stop.
