Beautiful hotel, conveniently located, with excellent weekend rates. Valet service and check in challenged at peak rush hours by limited street space and busy 9th Avenue, but well handled.

“The Gold Floor”

This is my favourite hotel in downtown Calgary. Excellent service and character. Pay a little more to stay on the gold floor - the dedicated concierge and buffet breakfast in the gold lounge are worth it.

Very Spacious Room on the Gold Level, in fact it was so large, I felt there was wasted space. The level of service was unsurpassed. Very friendly and helpful staff. I recommedn this hotel to anyone.

“Shelter in the Storm”

We were very impressed with the Palliser as it was a place I've always wanted to stay. The second night we stayed there was a snow storm and everyone who greeted us were very friendly even the doorman who was outside in the storm opening car doors. We were met with smiling faces when we stopped for a hot meal and drink. Our room was cozy and will go back again.
