Pros: see above - the staff was extra friendly and helpful
Cons: Bathroom a little "aged".
Excellent location (close to Airport), friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed my short stay!

Good LocationPosted 15-Jul-2014
Pros: It is easy to get to both from the city and the airport. After I left a comment about the service the girl who checked us out gave us a DVD
Cons: The lack of a smile at breakfast needs work!
Location: It seemed to be a bit far away to call this an "airport hotel". We went to the Stampede. It is a long way from there, but we had a car, so it was easy
All the staff were very friendly and helpful except the waitress who served us breakfast. I don't know if she is always like that, but it seemed like she was having a very bad day!

Good accommodationsPosted 12-Jul-2014
We had a pleasant stay at the hotel even though the bed was a little high for short people. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful and the overall experience was good

The hotel was alright but for the price, we expected a lot more. That's why the low rating.

Nice hotel close to airport - inexpensivePosted 2-Jul-2014
We needed a room for the night close to the airport to catch an early fight out the next morning. We were pleasantly surprised to fine such a nice hotel at such a good nightly rate.

Pros: Well kept and full service
Cons: A celebration cake with party confetti?
Location: Plenty of amenities at the hotel, and surrounding area (with in a few blocks).
My week stay for the Global Petroleum Show was great @ the Ramada Plaza. Only 20 minutes (in traffic) from the Calgary Stampede, it was easy access from the airport. Plenty of amenities at the hotel, and surrounding area (with in a few blocks).

OK for a transit nightPosted 13-Jun-2014
Pros: Relative price.
We chose the Ramada because it was reasonably priced for the area, had a hotel shuttle, and was was near our eventual destination. It was fine except it didn't include breakfast. I discovered too late there is a McDonalds nearby.

Decent hotelPosted 2-Jun-2014
Pros: Good spacious lobby
Cons: Condition of carpet in aisles and rooms
Location: About half an hour from the airport by road. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a mall
Stayed here a weekend during a Training course at the same hotel. Decently appointed. Lobby is spacious and open unlike some of the newer ones. Staff were helpful and courteous. Rooms are a bit cramped.

Nice hotelPosted 28-May-2014
Pros: Was very quiet and near restaurants and major roads.
Cons: Should have a microwave in all rooms as the coffee is only luke warm....but good.
Location: Location was fine - near moderate priced restaurants, shopping and major roads. We left the area as soon as we checked out and ate.
Only negative thing was the night before we checked into the hotel I called for directions from the Calgary airport and when I asked her a question she said gave me the answer but had to say - I already told you that. But every encounter we had with the personnel after that was mostly positive.
