Exceptionally Wonderful! Stylish and ComfortablePosted 16-Sep-2014
Cons: The sound proofing left something to be desired, that is the only thing to improve I can recommend.
We live in Calgary but booked a hotel room recently to spend the night after our friend's wedding at Hotel Arts. The hotel itself is beautiful, from the lobby to the outdoor pool to the tastefully appointed guest rooms to the restaurants to the ceremony and reception space. All staff members were extremely polite, friendly and very efficient. The hotel was able to accommodate the wedding party's last minute ceremony change when their original location fell through days before the wedding and no one would have ever been able to tell that hadn't been the plan all along. The food at the buffet was delicious, fresh and flavourful with lots of variety and selection. A wonderful hotel, a fantastic evening, I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone for any event!

a hotel will not rush to go backPosted 23-Aug-2014
Front desk stuff are in terrible manner, AC not working properly, room is not very clean. However, the location for the hotel is excellent, bike facility is a must try.

Trendy and funPosted 11-Aug-2014
Decor throughout hotel was trendy and beautiful. All encounters with hotel staff were above and beyond. Room was very clean and loved the personal touches (make up remover) and an amazing roof style shower. The food delivered to my room was absolutely amazing!

Our stay couldn't have been better! We chose Hotel Arts because of the easy walkable distance to a evening concert we planned to attend at the Saddledome. When we checked in, we were advised our king-sized-bed room that we had reserved through Expedia had been upgraded to a king suite, a very pleasant surprise. The suite was beautiful, gleaming with mirrors. As it happened it was pouring rain when we set out for the event but the kind gentleman in charge of valet parking lent us a couple of umbrellas. What a great way to start an evening, walking in the rain! All the staff were friendly and helpful, and I loved the art decor throughout the hotel, a visual delicacy free to enjoy.

Good downtown location. Rooms/halways too dark.Posted 2-Aug-2014
Pros: Central location.
Cons: Lighting in room and hallways.
Location: Walk to everything downtown Calgary.
It is an okay hotel experience. Hotel under renovations so we certainly did not get the most from this hotel. Parking too expensive.

Awesome Hotel!Posted 28-Jul-2014
I went on a spontaneous trip to Calgary for the first time and decided to stay at Hotel Arts, it was a great place to stay, outdoor pool and patio, right downtown and a 20 minute walk to almost everything (depeding how fast you walk). All in all it was a great place to stay.

Pleasant, modern hotel near downtownPosted 27-Jul-2014
Pros: Artwork, pool, location, staff, valet parking, and food.
Cons: Booklets in room to tell you of all the hotel amenities and restaurants, fridges in rooms, bigger (or another) gym.
Location: Near downtown.
The staff were all friendly, helpful, and efficient. The outdoor pool is lovely, with poolside yoga, the gym is extremely tiny and minimal, and the blown glass lights everywhere were beautiful and artsy. The valet parking is only $10 more than self parking, and was definitely worth it! Room service was right on time (ordered breakfast the night before), and the food was awesome. Rooms do not come with fridges, so I believe you'd have to make a special request. I would definitely stay here again if there was another deal going on, but I'm not sure I would pay the full price quoted online. Lovely hotel!

Awful hotel. Poor service. Worse managementPosted 20-Jul-2014
Avoid this place at all costs. Over priced and very poorly managed. Not a place worth your money. Also rated very poorly on tripadvisor too.
