“Very comfortable hotel”

My stay was great, it was so hot in Calgary and the room did not have a thermostat so I found it hard to sleep with the universal temperature the hotel programmed, but I survived. One night the room service did not have any of what I ordered, but I substituted - no problem.

“Hotel Serviece Great, Restaraunt Service Sucks”

Delta Calgary South was clean, comfortable and the staff was excellent. Getting service in the Atrium Restaraunt was another matter.Three staff for the whole dinning room, waited to be seated in a half empty dinning room for 20 mins. Were asked to sit in the sun as all the seats in shade were dirty, additional 10 mins for table to be cleaned. 10 more mins for service of coffee, 15 more mins for toast, and a bowl of cereal with bananas. 5 mins for the bill to be delivered! 10 mins for someone to be free to pay the bill. They were very nice tho. Where was Gordon Ramsay when they needed him??

“Best Hotel I have stayed at yet.”

Out of all the hotels that I have stayed at worldwide, this one was by far the most enjoyable. I will be looking for a reason to go back to this hotel. Not only the amenities were wonderful, the location was great, and the staff were awesome.

We checked in late (11pm) and I was very pleased with how friendly and helpful the front desk staff were. As my children were with me, they said they would send up complimentary kids packs for them, which they did, to the delight of my kids. The next morning we enjoyed the breakfast buffet which had an excellent selection of foods before heading out to enjoy our day. The location of the hotel to shopping centres and attractions was one of the reasons we chose to stay there. Our room was very clean, as was the rest of the hotel and restaurant. We were on the third floor where the skywalk is but yet we were not disturbed by any noises. All of the staff were very friendly and said hello to you while passing in the hallway, etc while smiling. We were delighted with our stay and we will return again.

“Delta - Atrium side”

We used to enjoy coming to this hotel when it was still the Best Western's Hospitality Inn. So we weren't sure what to expect now that it had changed ownership. We were pleasantly surprised. Front desk and luggage service was superior. In fact our bellman went the extra mile for us (after I tipped him - very important) to bring us extra bottled water and information on the Calgary Zoo, as that is where we were going to visit. Definitely would stay there again. Also, a very safe hotel when staying with small children. We have a two year old who can easily open up a standard hotel room door, and we have now experienced two hotels that didn't have additional security latches. This hotel did have that peace of mind for us. Pool without the water slide was awesome and quite private for being in an atrium.

“Best Hotel Ever”

This was by far the best hotel we have stayed at ever. The friendliest staff I have ever seen throughout North America. Always felt like everyone knew you and wanted to know what else they could do to help make your stay better. I would certainly stay here again, every chance I get and recommend this hotel to anyone. The food was also good at the attached restaurant. There is a WalMart right across the street

“Great Location and Wonderful Staff”

For the price it was a very very good value. The staff help out so well being that this was my first visit to Calgary. They even set up a clock radio that worked with my iPod, at my request, no questions asked. Very cool water slide in the pool, and a nice hot tub for those long days. The room was very clean and the house keeping staff was very good. On a down side I was not impressed with the Boomtown restaurant staff was very misserable and didn't seem to want to be there, surprising on a friday night, but a nice stay all-in-all.

This hotel is my stay whenever I get to Calgary, I first went there for Choices Seminars held in the hotel and really liked the rooms and services, I highly recommend it.
