“would not phone to release credit card hold”
they told me they would not run my credit card, and did. the next day, i called, and gave them my credit card company name and number to call. all they had to do was call, toll free, to release the hold, and they would not.
“Pool temp too cool!”
Pool temperature way too cool...kids would spend a few minutes in the pool & then would run to the hot tub to warm up. Asked front desk why the pool temp was so cool they just said they have to keep it that cool!!!!!!! :(
“Over priced”
The hotel was over priced for the quality of the hotel and the cleanliness. Staff was very friendly and nice though.
“Never Again”
Handicapped son caught flu and was sick on one of the beds and floor. No service, had to clean ourselves. Had to clean the mattress ourselves or be charged for a new mattress. Charged us for staining washcloths, towels, and a pillow as well as two blankets that could have been washed by cleaning staff. Stayed 6 days and only requested room be cleaned once, and when we needed it most we had to do it ourselves. We were made to feel like second rate citizens by the manager no less. 2 queen beds were adequate but the room was too small to sufficiently accomodate them. Plumbing was suspect as toilet threatened to overflow several times and sink was slow to drain. Complimentary breakfast was nothing to write home about. Stayed at the same hotel and inns all over the eastern states without issues; this one was abominable.
