“Comfy beds. Close to Chinook Mall”
Older hotel. Nice rooms. Beds very comfortable. Very close to Chinook Mall. Close to industrial/business area
“Blackfoot”
Great Hotel, excellent service.
“A Little Cool and small bath room”
It was cold in Calgary (-19C). Although I turned the individual thermostat as high as I could it made no difference. The room was cool and I could fell a chill coming through the window. Also, the bathroom was a little small. Opening the door and it almost hits the toilet. It also calls itself a boutique hotel but I have stayed at boutique hotels and I found nothing that would make it qualify as a boutique hotel.
“OK... Nothing More”
The hotel is quit outdated. The rooms are clean but nothing spectacular. The fitness center, sauna and the whirlpool are complimentary but tiny. The restaurant and the bar are OK, but again nothing spectacular. There is nothing near-by in the neighborhood as the closest bar/restaurant is Boston Pizza and it is a few kilometers (2-3km) away.
“clean and comfortable.”
Easy to locate. Easy access to main roadways. Not much traffic noise as it is off the main freeway. Lots of parking space. Clean everywhere. Lots of space in the room so it felt comfortable. I liked the view from the windows as there were no tall buildings close to this hotel and it was possible to see for miles. Lots of natural outside light coming in from the window is nice.
“didnt look like much from the outside ,but once inside it was very nice.”
The hotel turned out to be very nice inside and we were very glad we stayed there . Never a problem worrying about going outside the hotel around the parking lot seemed very safe
“Smoke-stick Room”
I booked for a non-smoking room but housed to a smoke stink room. I requested for transfer but the lady at the front desk informed me that they are fully booked. No room available. Tried their breakfast at the lobby restaurant. Asked for "Corned Beef with Hash Brown" but was served with mashed potato mixed with corned beef. I was expecting potatoes cut in cubes with the corned beef.
“Excellent”
I am a repeat customer.
“Stay there frequently”
I have stayed at the Blackfoot in several times over the years. Its a convenient location for my purposes, its clean, modern, and most important for me is that it is quiet, and the beds are very comfortable. There is no doubt that I will stay there again.
“"Always our favorite"”
Nice clean hotel. Close to everything we need to see or do in Calgary.
