Whatever happened to good customer servicePosted 6-Jul-2014
Pros: Everything's pretty average.
Cons: Customer service!!!
Location: Go for food at nearby restaurants like Big T's, Domino's, Denny's and Boston Pizza.
Overall, experience was quite bad. Before we checked in, we called to make sure we got the rooms via Expedia. The lady who answered seems annoyed at me for calling. When we checked in, I greeted the senior lady with a good evening to which she replied, "Wait." Very, very rude. Another guy started assisting us, and he can't seem to find our bookings so he was asking for help from the senior person. I could hear this rude lady cursing in her first language (she got a native tongue thats not English...which I happen to understand) and she even reprimanded me for naming the second room in my colleague's name (cause duh, it's gonna be his room, not mine). It took us half an hour to check in!!! Other than that, everything was OK. People here aren't the friendliest so don't expect smiles.

Very nice hotel with lots of amenities Stylish. Nice cocktail lounge and great breakfast in morning. Only drawback is the parking. Very limited space fur loading and unloading. Parking is in back and only entrance in front

Quick and easy access to University, Saddle dome, downtown, bus terminals, etc. Excellent food in lounge with very friendly and polite wait staff.

Great Location - close to StadiumPosted 24-Jun-2014
Pros: easy access; nice and clean; quiet.
Cons: Pizza Takeout Boxes from other guest left out in hallway; not taken away until morning.
Location: Great BBQ restaurant. Across from Home of Stampeders
Check-in was easy; parking on perimeter of building was free; breakfast buffet (included) was good.

Clean and comfortable, only a few minute walk to the train station. Can be noisy around the swimming pool area and very busy at breakfast time. Nice stay overall.

Decent ValuePosted 17-Jun-2014
Pros: Value, breakfast
Cons: Maintenance, Cleanliness
The proximity to the C-Train makes this an acceptable location when downtown not available at a good price. But the long walk from the east surface parking to the one entrance door is not pleasant in a rainstorm, and some of the small things (ice machine not working), key card not working properly in door were annoying.

Decent hotel with good breakfastPosted 12-Jun-2014
Clean room, comfortable bed, everything worked (AC, hot water, TV) Room was quiet despite facing busy street and staff were helpful. Bathroom recently renovated. For the price, good value.

conveniently located SAITPosted 7-Jun-2014
Cons: Movie rentals were quite expensive. Also, the food at the breakfast buffet was not very tasty & it was cold.
Very nice hotel, conveniently located on the TransCanada highway, close to SAIT. We only stayed one night. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The pool is a nice addition for families, although it was very crowded. We didn't use the pool.
