“A lovely Hotel”

We visited this Hotel at the end of June, booked a short notice through Expedia. We were late arriving, but we were met with a cool drink, and offered food even though the restaurant had been closed for over an hour. We were taken to our room, not "sent". The rooms are extremely spacious and spotlessly clean. The balcony is also very spacious. There is a very wide range of food, catering for all nationalities and tastes. Every item is available right up to the end of the dining hours. The waiters were efficient and courteous and the dining room was always immaculate. The pool was warm,clear and the sunbeds comfortable and plentiful. Even arriving back in the afternoon there were always sunbeds available and plenty of space if you wanted to sit away from the pool. I cannot recommend this Hotel highly enough. There was not one aspect that we could have complained about. The staff were all, without exception, well trained and pleasant. There were very few British holiday makers there - not a problem!! Perhaps I should have kept quiet!!

“Peace and Quiet”

Having visited Cala Mesquida some 40 years ago, I thought it would be nice to return and see how it had changed. I also wanted somewhere peaceful to relax and get away from it all. Sitting on our balcony overlooking a Pine forest, with the steep mountains beyond, and with just the sound of the sea to disturb the tranquility, I found the peace and quiet I was looking for. An adults only hotel, set in a small resort, comprising of several small blocks arranged around a large pool and gardens. Well kept and immaculately clean. The friendly and courteous staff made us feel most welcome. One of Mallorca's finest beaches lies at the end of short pathway from the hotel. This can get busy at times as the resort has two other larger sister hotels nearby. The resort has just a handful of shops and restaurents. Food is generally good with a reasonable choice but with little change from day to day. Good bar and lounge with daily entertainment programme.

“Can't wait for our next holiday there!”

We stayed at the Viva Cala Mesquida Suites in May, the hotel was fantastic. My 3 boys had a wonderful time, the entertainment staff were great with them seeking them out if they were not at the mini-club. The food was second to none. We hope to return in 2006.

Si vous hésitez dans votre choix pour l'hôtel et la région sur Majorque je vous conseille très clairement cet hôtel, les prestations sont très bonnes, notamment la chambre qui est vraiment sympa avec un lit gigantesque, un petit coin salon bien agréable le soir, et une salle de bains pas mal avec le jaccuzzi (baignoire avec système de jets) + grande douche, et aussi le balcon ou terrasse (nous étions en rdc sur la batiment 3, idéal!). Pour la région je pense que c'est le plus joli coin de l'île, enfin toute la pointe nord est de l'île est très belle, Cala Ratjada à 5mn bouge bien aussi le soir (attention beaucoup de pub allemand pour les sorties...c'est bizarre mais c'est ainsi) seul bémol sur l'île de Majorque la gastronomie qui n'est pas sensationnel (un peu fade...) mais l'hôtel a un grand buffet à volonté matin midi et soir, donc pas de soucis pr les repas à l'hôtel, attention prix repas 52euros avec 2 menus + 1 bouteille d'eau et 1 bouteille de vin à 12euros,correct mais pas tous les soirs pour le portefeuille), attention l'eau est très chere sur l'île mais indispensable car l'eau est infecte. En conclusion, je vous conseille très clairement de venir DANS CET HOTEL, réservé aux adultes! pas d'enfants qui pleurent OUF!

“A few reservations”

Had no complaints about hotel but a long tiring 21/2 hr bus journey from the airport to get there. The resort of Cala Mesquida small and very quiet. I stayed for a week and during that time I never heard a word of English anywhere in either hotel or resort

“Little Germany”

This is a nice hotel, but bear in mind that it's a Little Germany on Mallorca. People were surprised when I greeted them in Spanish.

“Excellent place for a honeymoon or anniversary”

This hotel was like a little oasis from the world in a lovely setting with pool, gardens, loungers and many beds around the grounds for couples to lounge on. Until you live in an 'over 18' environment, you don't realise just how quiet adults are - compared to children and their parents! The buffet breakfasts and dinners were lovely, and we also enjoyed the nightly entertainment following dinner.

We were on our honeymoon and loved every minute here. This hotel is very clean & the service of the people was great. The buffets were wonderful and would prefer them over the restaurants. The Suites area did not have kids anywere and that was nice, eventhough the resort had kids you need to look for them. The beach was farther from the Suites units but it was a nice walk along a paved walk with great vistas. My wife and I can not wait till we come back. We would recommend it to anyone who want to be away from a rat race of their lives and rest. Because you can. The only thing to note is that you will be away from Palma and it is an hour ride to the hotel. It is worth the wait. Or if you want to ride around rent a car. We did not and enjoyed the fact that we were with nature and walked everywhere we needed. There is a market and butcher shop nearby for all your needs and laundry in the hotel. The food was great and varied enough for the week we were there. We took tons of pictures and will show them off to all our family and friends.

“Generally very good...”

... but over-starred; I've never heard of another 4 star hotel that doesn't offer room service. If you can get past that then the location is superb and the other facilities in the hotel are excellent.
