Roydon Beachfront Holiday Apartments comprises 20 spacious 1, 2 and 3 bedroom holiday apartment Suites which respect your privacy and enjoyment. Only 20 kms north of Cairns and away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Situated on the beach Esplanade (a no-through road, and no busy traffic noise) in a relaxed village atmosphere is The Roydon with ocean views from every sea view apartment. All apartment suites are rated by the Australian Automobile Association (AAA) with a 4.5 star standard. They are clean, well maintained, self-contained and fully equipped with elevator access to all levels. From this beachfront position you can easily walk to 8 restaurants and casual eateries and a full tour advise and booking service is available from reception as well as FREE WIFI through out the facility. Tip: Pre-book the airport transfer service Roydon offers, it's convenient and cheaper than a Taxi/Cab.

Roydon Beachfront Apartments offers 20 guestrooms. Rooms open to balconies. Pillowtop beds feature premium bedding. Flat-panel televisions come with premium cable channels, DVD players, Wireless Internet access is provided FREE, with direct-dial phones and voicemail, CD players, and in-room safes. Accommodations at this 4.5-star property have kitchens with full-sized refrigerators/freezers, stovetops, microwaves, and cookware/dishes/utensils. Bathrooms include separate bathtubs and showers, double sinks, and makeup/shaving mirrors. Washers/dryers, separate sitting areas, and separate dining areas are also included. Amenities available on request include wake-up calls. Cribs (infant beds) and rollaway beds are also available. Rooms are accessible via exterior corridors.
Renovation of all guestrooms was completed in February 2009.
All guestrooms are non-smoking.

“Spacious, low key and relaxing.”
Rented a 2-br for our family of 5 for week during December holidays. Very roomy accommodations, casual atmosphere, not fancy, fully equipped, quiet and relaxing. Located outside of town (Cairns), but if you've rented a car, this is a good home base for excursions in the area. Management office can recommend and handle tour bookings. Not much to the beach in these parts, but my kids enjoyed the pool(s) which were at a comfortable temperature. There are several restaurants within walking distance and a small supermarket a short drive within the town of Trinity Beach. Recommend renting a car for getting around on your own a bit, but if you haven't rented a car in advance you can arrange one on site.
“Exceeded expectation in nearly every way!!! :-)”
This was not just a "room hotel" but an "apartment hotel" which was located in Trinity Beach, what I would call a close suburb of Cairns. The accomodation met or exceeded my expectations in nearly all metrics. Please continue reading... Julie and Eddie Harrop seem to be most of the staff, at least that we saw. They have such a postive and helpful attitude that I would class as just amazing! From checking to checkout, wonderful and helpful! We booked a single bedroom apartment, but were offered a choice of two different floor plan two-bedroom units at the same price & given a tour of each to choose which would meet our tastes better. This was our first trip to AU and actually our first time choose an "apartment" rather than a traditional hotel. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Each bedroom was spacious, the bathrooms large, the living area fantastic, the kitche outfitted well and modern, and the flat screen TVs great too! The luxury, space, and convenience of this accomodation have spoiled us for anything else! The only "ding" was having problems with the free internet access. Eddie was knowledgeable and bent over backwards in his efforts and resolve the issues in a timely manner!!! Note: "Roydon Beachfront Apartments" is connected facility with "Beachfront Apartments" sharing staff/amenities, etc. Hotel address is on on Vasey Esplanade, the beach side, however the parking entrances and reception is better from the Moore Street side.
“I would highly recommend this to anyone”
A wonderful location overlooking Trinity beach and within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants. This was a fabulous place to stay! I would highly recommend it to anyone. There was plenty of room for our family. Apartments are huge !!! Way larger than expected.The staff was very helpful and had great suggestions for activities with good discounts. If we are to have another Holiday in Cairns, we will definitely stay again at Roydon.
“Great room, great value”
I couldn't have been happier with the accommodation - 50 metres from a stunning beach and very quiet as well. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and went out of his way to make me feel welcome and to help make my stay a pleasant one. The internet was provided for free with the room which in Australia is rare - also they have an office if you need to print out documents or if you don't have you own computer - again this is offered for free. The Trinity beach area is located about 20 minutes from Cairns CBD, but there are buses to take you there if you wish to go. There are plenty of things to do, most of which can be arranged right from the hotel, and all the information is available at the front desk. The room was huge, with kitchenette and two bathrooms, complete with washing machine and dryer, so it was a great value for the price.
“Happy Holidayers”
We recently had a wonderful holiday at Trinity Beach. The apartments were so well equipped, everything we could possibly need. We very much appreciated the upgrade Eddie gave us to Beachfront Units, these were on the ground floor which made access to the beach and restaurants so easy. On our last day we had a mid afternoon flight out and we were grateful for the relaxed attitude to a late check out which meant we could make the most of our last morning, walk the beach, swim in the apartments pool and lunch on the patio before showering and travelling on refreshed and rested. All the staff were so helpful with information and advice, getting us towels for the pool etc. We would definitely stay here again.

“A great base for visiting the rainforests and reefs”
From our initial warm welcome, our stay at the Roydon continued to impress. We did have a problem with our room safe, but this was no problem for the extremely helpful owners who were able to "improvise" to allow us to use it during our stay. The apartment was massive, with a large balcony. Being on a high floor we had no problem with insects and we were even privileged enough to see one of the resident green frogs. Trinity Beach was a very relaxing resort with a variety of places to eat and drink and a great base for visiting the rainforests and reef. We would definitely come back to the Royden Beachfront Apartments if we came back to the Cairns area.
“Made right choice”
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Eddie the manager was great, he made himself available whenever you had a question or needed recommendations on where to go while on our vacation The facility is very family friendly and clean. There are beach front restaurants within walking distance. The sunrise view from our room was like a picture from a postcard. If we plan another trip to Cairns we would definately stay here again.
“Wonderful”
The Roydon fulfilled every hope I had had about a beachfront condo (that's what the US calls them)- "serviced apartment" didn't sound all that wonderful to me but it truly was. We slept every night listening to the gentle waves against the shore. Our living room was very spacious and opened to the balcolny where we could sit and watch the people and the boats and the ocean. It couldn't have been more wonderful and the Managers were fantastic too. Trinity Beach is a place I would highly recommend - clean, spacious, well equiped, good places to eat, close to other attractions.
